Hello,
there are many and some really good german drivers out there in many different series, but in German media all you can see is "Formel 1" and DTM. No AMLS, no FIA GT One, no ...... no.......
All I can do is watch - after "hunting" for a stream - via Internet. Poor quality and not always a stream for this or that.
It seems, that the Germans don't like racing. Even the DTM had announced some lack of viewers in TV. I can't understand, because this year it is a good show. Mercedes, Audi and BMW. All are competetive and there are some good drivers. Is here anybody who remembers David Coulthard?
If someone from you is viewing motorsport events via Internet it would be nice to read your links. May be I can view from Germany too.
By the way: I saw some of those BTCC 2012 races. This is great racing! Man against man. Car against car. Not engineer against engineer!

Justin.tv is where I try to catch streams of some races. We've got a different issue here stateside...unless it's Nascar or Indy cars...finding a televised race can be difficult. International series...good luck. Chevrolet won the WTCC championship...and not a squeak from the media here. A US manufacturer won a major international championship...and nobody here gave 2 flips.
I feel your pain.
BTCC is for my money just the best racing out there. It is all about the drivers and a privateer can and has won the occasional race. One of the reasons I so enjoyed the STCC here, it came close to recreating that and I can't wait to do it again. To hell with Mustangs and American Muscle
