Yeah, Snappy, it's the ALMS GT car. Plus it's the "ZR1 C6R" which is the newest corvette racer. Also it's got the three position lights on the side which I think is exclusive to ALMS. Is the final piece to the ALMS GT puzzle? We now have BMW, Porche, Ford, Chevy, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Jaguar.... missing just Aston maybe? oh, and the new Lotus?

That would be great. I'm hoping to work out a series with most of those cars. Maybe in the Fall when more folks are available.

I hear you Church. I need the McLaren MP4 12C GT3. I'm looking to do a tribute of either the FiA GT1 or FiA GT3. Shit, maybe even the Blancpain Endurance series. What the hell, there is even the FiA World Endurance Championship. FiA has some good shit going on.
Is there a discount for VIPs if you buy it in game? I've seen conflicting accounts of this, the xbox marketplace doesn't mention it... Can anyone confirm? If no discount I'll just go ahead and add it to my queue from xbox.com right now.
No VIP discount, no free car and there are only 5 cars on the XBL Marketplace, because according to the in-game marketplace, the other 5 are pack only. Real BS move on T10's/M$'s part.
I think on principle I'll wait for the inevitable FUC U edition to add anymore DLC...
Took advantage of the apparently extremely low PI of the Ford and upgraded it to F200. Was able to run a 1:50.162 at Motegi East. Handled well, but the jump from 2nd to 3rd gear was pretty steep. I think I might readjust and make sure the race transmission is installed. Not a Spark beater, but I think tuned up it's a decent car.
Took my Ford to A class and ran some 1/4 miles in the low 11's without much effort.(original tranny). Not a world beater but very fun, and it would probably benefit from a real tune.
It sure is pretty though...
Threw some parts on the beetle and ran her in B class, guesstimating the suspension, and it feels pretty good, quick and relatively stable, no aero. Painted her June Bug green.
Driving the 40 Ford from bonnet view it feels like you are standing on top of a step ladder to drive! You look down on everyone really quite off putting when it first fires up!
Love the beetle nearly as much as the 73 rs, only thing missing is the stingers exhaust and mine would be an exact replica of my cal looker from the late 80's.
Well now, I do believe we might have a gauntlet thrown...Umm, I painted mine though, so it might be faster.
Edit: Ran her stone stock last night and ran a 12:31, but lost time around the track due to gear selection versus elevation. I lost at least 2 full seconds, maybe more.
THEN!, I gutted her, full race weight, added a supercharger (sure turbos are probably better, but not historically accurate) and went nuts on her, original motor, and stayed at F200. Not sure if she's competitive yet, but she sure is fun. Original tranny is a bit to get used to though.
Also have an A class 1/4-1/2 mile tune that's pretty fun. Low 11's in the 1/4, might break into the 10's with a little fiddling.
I'm also playing with a B class Beetle tune (no aero) that's stable, fun and has potential, but the suspension tunings still not quite right.
Also ran the Yellowbird in the rivals drag (500hp and under twin turbo 1/4 sedona), and managed to push down into the nine's with a homemade tune for position 161 at that time. I'm sure it'll get pushed way down by the time it's all over.(So that Yellowbird of mine in 204E's clubhouse is a DRAG tune guys!)
Also drove this thing around Old Lemans under 4 minutes, which is probably quite easy to do in S class, but I flipped the replay on and watched it as the car was doing some really weird slip and grab on me at times and I wanted to see it outside the car.
When I did it became very clear what was going on.
The car's rear sits down and really grabs the road while the front end comes up outrageously. So you slip into a corner a little hot, bring the nose around and get on the throttle, perhaps before you're completely straightened out, and then it squats in mid slip and grabs, the nose comes up, and she rotates a bit more than anticipated and you can literally launch yourself into the wall on the other side of the track. And then you're stitting there in the grass wondering what the Hell happened.
It's a wild ride and a beast of a car. I really like the stock body styling on it too. Jury's out on the yellow paint though...

I saw a thing that VIP's get a discount, but it is in game only.

The Vette is awesome
The Beetle is awesome
The MG is pretty cool, have to spend more time with it.
The 40 Ford is great looking. I stripped everything off of it and dropped it as low as possible.
Not a bad car pack except for the cygnet and the ghibli. The Toyota is probably cool too but it's just not my style.
Live.com is updated and there are no "pack only" cars, ZR1 is missing, but in game marketplace says the Celica, GhibliC63 are pack only.

Cygnet is the free car.

P
Race exhaust on the bug is awesome to watch, hehe.
My favorite convertible tuner is hard at work on this pack as we speak!
Just managed a sub 14 minute run around the ring in the ford got her upto 109mph as well.
Stock?
Yeah going to try the beetle stock as well.
Managed 20k in the rivals drift challenge with a stock ford lol
