Thankfully Antony Davidison is ok, 2 cracked vertebrae and spending night in hospital, could have been a whole lot worse, I was worried when it happened as it seemed to take ages to get him out the car, but the medics where just being very cautious, at first I thought he was ok as he appeared to wave out of the car, but it seems he was calling for help, just proves how good the safety cells are in modern race cars.
Looked pretty bad, but says a lot about how far safety has come on .
Thankfully consequences not so serious this time.
Also says something about aero on the top class cars. Seen again and again.
Interesting how it only took a slight nudge to send that car way out of control. It was right on the rear quarter though and he was most likely going to brakes just as he got hit.
Oh i want a huge list of things!! :)
But yes, better dmage, less lag, more wear and better tyre model not this one that doesn't work... :)
That was a crazy crash, glad he's ok....there were a few other gooders during the night as well
U guys have high hopes :)
Sadly until proven wrong, i think its good graphics, timmy based and $$$ there focusing on @ t10 :(
All the things your asking for will or already be in project cars released on xbox next year, rumor has it they may holdout till the release of xbox 720 to compete with fm5 ...since there's currently no racing competition on xbox....should be interesting hehe
Those new strakes certainly did their job. Got the car turned back around. I don't know that it would've taken off if the LR didn't clip the curb. When the tire clipped the curb it brought the rear up high enough to get air under it.
Effing Ferraris. Another one did the exact same thing to Rockenfeller last year...

Yes, thankfully he is going to recover.

Amazing isn't it Poidsly, the aero is so strong when they are moving forwards, that if they spin sideways whilst at speed they fly...
Glad he's okay, could have been much worse! :)
Yup
400kg odd anchor turns into to a lift wing - and you take off!
Now imagine this modelled in FM5.
Still believe if lag can be sorted full sim damage = racing respect = better racing and overtaking
I so hope we have a radically improved damage and fuel/tyre consumption model.

A better PI system would also be nice.

It did seem quite familiar
