BTW, a bunch of us with high aspirations drove the Hennessy around 6 0r 8 tracks last night, and all got a lesson in humility.
Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaa!!!
Luv it, mean it!
You can damn sure pull out and pass someone IF you're pointed in the right directions AND can keep it pointed in the right direction, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!
So far, I've built a venom & a c class Austin Healey. The venom is pure awesome. Haven't tried the Austin yet. I did get to try the transit van at the ring this afternoon withsome of the gang & it's a blast. I smell a special event coming.
Could you send me the Tune? PLEASE!

How did you manage to point it in the right direction everytime I press the gas or hit the breaks it turned on me and found the nearest wall

A little experience and a lotta respect goes a long way with these...
Cotter! We were driving them Alfresco dude! Gary and I were passing each other 2-3 times a lap it seemed, was a real blast.
I've never seen 5th gear acceleration like that ever...
I took the untuned Venom to Road America last night. I could be 15-20 car lengths behind one of the AI R3 cars coming on to the front striaght and pass them before turn one, the car pulled that hard.
To add my own two cents to Kochino's question. I could only put my foot to the floor in 4th gear and only when going straight. In third I might be able to give it half to two thirds throttle before the rears break loose and I was never on the throttle when turning.
If you're used to squeezing the throttle from no power to full power coming out of a turn, you'll do the same thing here except you'll be squeezing the throttle through at least three gear changes before you're flat out.
IMO, the rear tires want to break loose because of the power and the front end tends to float at speed so you have to be very gentle with your steering inputs.
Did a top speed run at Old Mulsanne. Touched 264. Untuned.
Would love to see what this thing can do with some aero downforce and a racing setup.

You have to set up for corners well ahead of normal distance as the speeds you're traveleing are faster than what you're used to. And as Shaggy said, easy on the throttle until at least third, and even then the cam kicks in at the top of the gear and wants to rip the tires to shreds. 4th was a bit safer but still can bite you if you wiggle unexpectedly! It's a riot, and I can see where TC might be needed but it's sooo fun without it.
On Old mulsanne, I pulled out and passed players like they were tied to the light poles, it's a crazy car, and I thought the Ultiva was the Ultimate, hehe.
I want to state I already went out and bought points, just didn't have to use them, yet...sad thing is, I think I have 1920 points, how many is the Porsche pak gonna be?
from what i saw the hennessy is a real powerhouse. Too bad when i was racing with you guys yesterday it showed me you were driving vw bora's cuz the pack wasnt released here yet. We are always one day behind
it sure excellerates like crazy...tried it out today...bought the CP an hour ago...just need to get a nice tune for the venom to get some grip...had to put the tc on for sure....btw couldnt find my other headset since i killed mine yesterday when i wanted to connect lol
That was just crazy last night, especially at new Le Mans. It was basically go like hell, hit a wall, go like hell, hit a wall, go like hell, mass pileup, go like hell!
I can honestly say that the Venom is more car than I can handle. It's gonna take a very good tune to make that thing work for me.
Well, I downloaded the free car last night and was able to play today.... I have all the cars from the pack. I assume what is given can be taken away, we'll see. For now I'm holding off on buying the 900,000 cr Venom in game.
Had the dl que set from work, came home and the wife was on Netflix, I think it downloaded before I got home, everything was there already.

Yeah, I had it in my queue, but didn't get the Xbox turned on till about 10 cst last night... It was fixed.

Lol. Yeah JD. The Venom is totally wicked as long as you use TC. I've never seen anything accelerate like that.
