HBO Forums going offline until Halo 4 launch.
Most of you probably could care less about this but it does underline why I asked for no spoilers to be posted.
By way of this post, I am not suggesting this forum go offline. HBO has strong community ties to the developer and maintaining those ties is quite a different situation from what we have here.

That is a huge disservice to their site members and quite possibly the lamest thing I have seen.
Replies to the OP seem quite understanding and positive.
Most members there don't want to be spoiled and unmanaged forums attract spoilers/leakers. HBO is adamant about anything illegal too. I.E. Broken Street dates, broken NDA, pirated copies, illegally obtained copies
Maybe I misunderstood. It's my understanding they are closing their forums with the intent of possibly preventing any spoilers from being posted. Are they just closing A forum or all forums?
The site owner and site admins are unavailable to moderate until next week.
I would assume most stores will have copies by tomorrow. Their just trying to prevent all the spoilers that will be out over the weekend. For Halo2 and Halo3 I got my copies early from a small game store. They finally got busted after releasing Blops 4 days early and had to stop early releases.
