Halo: The Thursday War

The next novel in the Halo series to be released comes out in October. The second book of the Kilo 5 trilogy, this book is said to end immediately before Halo 4 begins. As a fan who has read every Halo novel published, I can't wait to read this book. Amazon.com has a preorder deal, release date delivery and a price cheaper than listed elsewhere. http://www.amazon.com/HALO-The-Thursday-Karen-Traviss/dp/0765333635/ref=...

I started my reading of Halo stories with Cryptum and Primordium by Greg Bear. In between those two was Glasslands by Karen Travis. I'm not going to say I like these author's styles but I do like what they have written for Halo. I do not plan on reading any Halo book published before Cryptum. I prefer my written Halo experience to start fresh with what has come under 343i's control.

I am really looking forward to The Thursday War. I didn't realize it's release was so close. I will buy it as an Ebook.

That's a shame. You are really missing out on Nyland's stuff. Glasslands is a continuation of Ghosts of Onyx by Nyland and why the team is wherethey are. Fall of Reach gives the history of the Spartan II program and some of the major character conflict that happens in Glasslands as well.

Mostly I'm just too lazy to go back and read the older stories. So I just set a bar for going forward. It's the stuff down the road I'm more interested in at the moment. That can change.smiley

Thanks for the heads up, but I'll probably wait for it to be on Kindle.

I clicked the "tell this publisher you want to read it on Kindle" button.
