Halo: Mortal Dictata
This book just came out and concludes the Kilo Five trilogy. It was a really great read. I just hope the next book takes place after Halo 4, I really want to read about the Chief and see if the Didact is still out there. I'm pretty sure he is, based on stuff I read in the second Forerunner book.
I enjoyed this book and it probably was the fastest I've ever read.
I always like loose ends being tied up.
Since it's written by Karen Traviss, I'll pick it up. I'm always hesitant to pick up the Greg Bear novels since I don't particularly like his writing style.
She's a character writer, he seems a more story driven grand scale type. Although I like Traviss' books better his story arc has added much more to the lore than Traviss. That being said, I was disappointed in the execution of the story in Halo 4.
