Halo 4 Requires 8GB of HDD Space
"Spaced Out" Halo 4 will require 8GB of Hard Drive space
On the official Xbox site there is a small listing about Halo 4 stating: "At a minimum, you’ll need at least an 8GB USB Flash Drive or an Xbox 360 Hard Drive to play Multiplayer mode in Halo 4." Read the full article here.
Isn't it weird that this stuff is coming to us, yet there's so much in the air about the game itself? Maybe I just don't understand the development cycle. I'd like it if Mrs. Doublefire could shed some insight, or someone in the industry. They clearly haven't printed the discs of the game yet, but how much heavy lifting could be going on right now? Are we being set up for a few Title Updates?
Although, now that I'm thinking about it, it's probably just to install it on the hard drive. You can still probably plunk the disc in the drive and play it.
BF3 required like 2 gigs because of visual issues.
A 10 gig usb drive shouldn't cost you over 12 bucks so no biggy.
Let's not forget about Spartan Ops. I am under the impression these will be weekly downloads with cinematics and missions. I mean, it's already been stated season one of Spartan Ops will be 10 weeks of 5 missions, so that could take up a chunk of real estate on the HD.
thats true! never thought of that. So basically we need a lot of HDD space!

That 250gb drive is sure going to come in handy.
