Let me be clear, I can't/won't actually stop anyone from posting spoilers. This is just a polite request.
I don't want to get into the semantics of what is a spoiler or that we can use spoiler tags. Fact is, over the small number of weeks remaining until the game releases, there is a good chance the game will fall into the hands of people who will post every little detail including all of Campaign. Lots of people won't like that to happen.
So let us please not post that stuff here. People who want to see spoilers can easily find them outside of this forum.
I will continue to post details about Halo 4's features, especially for multiplayer. I do not intend to post campaign storyline. Not even the officially sanctioned 343i stuff. You will be able to find those things on your own from the Waypoint Bulletin I frequently link to.
I don't expect people to be perfect, as I certainly am not. Mistakes will get made.
I would prefer not to see topic titles like "Master Chief marries Cortana" etc.
If the general consensus is I'm being too stuffy about this then perhaps there is another solution. How about I create a topic called "Halo 4 - Post your Spoilers in here"?

Spoiler tags and titles are fine but they are not as foolproof as no post at all.
Once the game releases, I expect people will want to talk about what their experience. Most people who still don't want to be spoiled for a few weeks after release will not be hanging out here, I hope.
People will just have to make choices.

On November 6, I'll unsticky this topic and replace it with something a little more liberal and a little less cautious.
I would still hope people use Spoiler tags and non-spoiler titles for a week or so.
I am very impressed and thankful Halo 4 spoilers have not invaded here yet.
I now recommend to those not wanting to get spoiled before Nov. 6, don't hang out in this forum, or any other Halo forum.
Nothing I post in this forum, from here on out, will affect whether you buy this game or not. All you need to know, is already known.
