I liked Halo Legends, but this looks kind of meh.  I'd prefer more animated/CG Halo.

Yeah, it's "for real". 343 has been hyping this for a while now.

I guess this looks okay, but I would have preferred Micro$oft spent those millions on improving Halo 4 instead of making this "live action series".

In all honesty I don't really see the point of this series. I mean, I'll watch the episodes, but I'd rather have more info about the game than more FUD hype.

*sigh*

I think someone said it earlier, but it's all a part of the hype train, I think.  Also, it might be a pilot for launching that movie that you lore nerds have been salivating over.

Yup, hype plus the bigger picture is a full blown movie.

Remember this?

MS wants to make the movie but not Hollywood's way. After they saw how the Halo 3 and REACH mini films/commercials were recieved they decided to do something similar but with a full story.

If this mini-movie flys, expect to see Hollywood go to MS and not the other way around.

I don't see how making this will affect Halo 4 in any way. I'm sure they didn't cut into the budget or talent  dedicated to the game to make these episodes, well except for maybe Frankie.

I've said it a thousand times already, but getting Neill Blomkamp to direct a big budget live action Halo movie would be awesome and probably make a gazillion dollars.
