 REMINDER: These are what you can expect starting next Monday and Tuesday.

Next Monday, we will release two additional armor mods free of charge for you to enjoy, and we’ll be using a Title Update to deliver them. These will be released one day before the Champions Bundle launches on Tuesday, and you’ll immediately be able to incorporate these new Support Upgrades into your Loadouts and dominate.

  • Recharge: New Support Upgrade available to all players
    Recharge decreases the time it takes for your shields to recharge.
  • Survivor: New Support Upgrade available to all players
    Survivor ejects you out of a vehicle if it’s about to explode.

We hope you enjoy using these complimentary Support Upgrades in your Loadouts starting next Monday.

As a reminder, the Champions Bundle will include a sneak peek of the Resistor Tactical Package, which allows players to retain full mobility despite taking fire for a few short moments. This armor mod will eventually be made available to all players in Halo 4 Matchmaking free of charge.

I'm confused.

Isn't there a shield mod already?  Or does that apply to the shield recharging faster, and this one refers to the downtime between no shields and when they start charging?  In either case I hope you can't use both at the same time, that would break the game even harder.

I think I have the correct info.

Tactical Packages - Shielding - Shielding speeds up your armor's energy shield recharge rate.

Support Package - Recharge - Recharge decreases the time it takes for your shields to recharge.

So yeah, both can be enabled. Whether the combo breaks the game or not is personal opinion, for now. Some people think Active Camo and Jetpacks break the game already. From my perspective, I disagree. I use both and I still suck. Same will be true for the Shields/Resistor combo.

Survivor is the exact opposite of the way it should be, it should eject you if your vehicle gets boarded but if your Ghost gets lasered you should die with it. Also, if you get jacked from a vehicle you shouldn't stagger around in a drunken stupor, you should move as normal. It makes no sense for your Spartan to be able to jump 10 feet in the air from your exploding vehicle, but not let your Spartan run like normal after someone grabs your shoulder and throws you out. This is fucking stupid.

Still need to try the double-shield combo out in FFA some time.

I tried the combo in SpOps and didn't notice a thing (a little bit maybe). I think Resistor may be the best for me.

Just found out the new armour mods don't work in SpOps.
