[FM5] Bathurst 250 anyone?

I was thinking of running 41 laps at the mountain on Oct 5th 8PM GMT with the Aussi V8's.

Should take us about an hour, 45 mins.

Any stock build (maybe race brakes) V8 except the Xbox One as that is the new V8.

2 Mandatory pitstops, no damage.

Interrested?

I'm up for it, although can we use the #10 Holden (the new one)? There's a badge for 300miles round Bathurst in that one!

Hmmm, worth testing than. I only excluded the #10 because I'm lazy wink, maybe enlarging the wheel diameter of the other cars to 18"? I don't know the PI of the cars from the to of my head, are they close?

I do know the biggest differences in real life are that the new v8's have fully independent rear supention and run 18" wheels opposed to a live axle and 17" on the old. Plus the new ones don't have the diagonal rollbar at the windscreen.

Snoop SLR8789 was seen today running, the newly aquired sponsorship from EE mobile, around the Bathurst circuit in preparation for the October 5th Bathurst 250 event. Reports from the pitlane suggest Snoop is currently averaging 2:18 in the Ford. Asked if he was nervous about running the new course and car after some time away from endurance racing, Snoop simply claimed "Endurance racing is only nerve-racking if you cannot come to an agreement with the car. You come to an understanding with the car and become consistent with the track and the rest falls into place".

EE Mobile are new to the Racing circuit and sure do stand out. The team and Snoop will be spending some time at Bathurst before the race in 3 weeks time confirming designs and looking to perform well come race  day.
