E3 Halo thoughts?
hey guys!
just wondered what anyone thought of the short release trailer at E3 that just happened?
They didnt call it Halo 5 so what does this mean? are they getting away from the series in the way of order? story line?

You got me. Still waiting to hear some facts. Spike TV caught the omission of the 5 and was looking for answers.
It's definitely moving on in the timeline, as chief was holding cortana's "chip" indicating the ending of H4...we all know it's Halo 5 though.
probably to cause a stirrup I think..by the way does anyone think the large thing that came out of the sand looks like a giant transformer?
Is it 343 again, or a different developer?
I believe 343 is on the hook for 5 and 6. I haven't watched the trailer yet, but if it is timed for XBONE 1 release it will probably be as full of holes as H4.
Edit: Duh, should have read the LB thread first.
yea I thought it was transformer looking too haha but I wonder if it represents the Precursers?

The timeframe gives the game enough development time, while being a killer app for a holiday 2014 increase in console sales.
Not unexpected at all. It is probably preferable to releasing this year even if it had enough time.
Quite a bit larger than I had imagined.

The Didacts ship...that was probably what we saw..even after his death he lived on by passing his essence on to a second coming = another Diadact with same memories and thoughts right?
