i believe the DMR stands up against lag better than the BR. it seems if there is even a little lag in the game i really struggle with the BR. it has an effect on the DMR too, but not as bad as the BR.

anyone else seem to have the same experience?
I think so. It turns out that a chunk of the randomness experienced in Reach wasn't necessarily the DMR, it was the DMR and playing over Live. I still have encounters where I mutter "If this were LAN, I'd have won this", because the fifth shot lants on their head and it doesn't count for some reason.
Also, I agree. When I sense that games are going like this, I either pull out the Battle Rifle (less likely) or make a more concerted effort to hang back and keep popping shields and call the leftovers out so my team (because SOMEONE'S gotta have a better connection) can clean it up.
I'd guess Abandon. :)
I only read the first few posts, but the light rifle is only 4 hits scoped... 6 unscoped.
also, I've been meaning to test to see if 2 body shots scoped and 1 to the head unscoped kills.
anyone care to test this theory with me in a custom game?
I have the octagon with DMR/BR/Light Rifle starting weapons. :)
File Share?
The map is in my FS. I didn't make it, but figured people could make their own gametype. Mine's named octomom :)
I like shield vampirism at 100% for a nice warmup gametype, too. I'll have to check it out.
Oops' I meant 5 unscoped.
