Converged Garage Selection

Hey Guys,

It's become apparent that the acquisition of cars for Forza 5 is not going to be automatic and without some effort. Credit management is going to be key, and picking the right cars as well.

That being said, I know that I would like to maximize my opportunites to race with you guys and have interesting competition with equally matched cars.

So, what do you all say to picking some cars and/or classes to focus on so that we are on the same page when we want to race together?

So here's a start to open the conversation:

Mini '65 D400 - classic mini series

BMW 1m C500 - sport compact

Ariel Atom R(800?) - open wheel

Aussie V8 super car (currently 1mill credits so more a hope than anything that we can get this going soon)

I hate to say it and it really saddens me but I think if I am going to race any multiplayer race series its going to be in Forza 4.  I enjoy playing the leagues in Forza 5 but I refuse to try and hammer out credits just to afford a car so I can use it for some multiplayer races.

I just started a new league yesterday and had to buy a new car and parts and that took about 100k.  Playing casually since release I had only made 300k so far.  Thanks T10 you made a hardcore arcade game.  Not enough simulation to satisfy some, and a time comitment that others can't do.

CBB, that sounds good to me.

I already have a couple of C500 (MX-5 & Fiesta ST) which, I think, performs similarly to your BMW.  S2000 seems to be the favourite on the LB but have not tried it yet.

I purchased '65 mini few days ago so I'll have it ready for D class.

Atom I already have and I prefer to race it as is.  It is already a bad ass.

V8 will have to wait a bit.  I'm saving up for the E21 as my first priority and I am 1/3 of the way there.  But I am contemplating if E21 is really worth it; I won't be using it much and there are whole lot of interesting more fun cars begging to be driven.  I guess I still have few more days to make that decision.

And when you share the tune, if you put 2O4F in the description or in the name, the tune will be easy to find (I think).
