I was on a few times today and kept getting kicked to the main menu in the middle of a strike...during the final battle. Happened 3 times in a row. HOPEFULLY that does not happen tonight.
What did you guys want to run? Strikes & bounties or try to get a group for a raid?
XBL friends list borked. Showing no friends online. Tweeted XBL support about this. XBOX.COM support not working either. WTF? Second time in 6 days this has happened to me in the evening.
Hammerdrake, Gatsu and I ended up running the nightfall and some strikes last night. We're talking about doing it again next Thursday (May 14) at about 9pm Eastern (6pm Pacific). Give a yell here if you want us to look for you!

Sounds good to me. I need to run the raids more to get my main guy up to 32. I managed to hit 31. But I'm pretty much at the point where I need raid gear to make that last push to 32 before the new dlc drops.

Would love to see the inside of Crota's End! Got my sunsinger warlock up to level 30.5 or so (self revive ftw!), and my Gjallerhorn is already almost fully leveled (got to hunt for helium later today), so maybe I'll run him, unless the 31 Titan is obviously preferred (let me know).
Gatsu: I'm thinking that almost all the grind to get to 32 will be chopped off the normal Destiny progression path once HoW drops. They pretty much need to do that to allow the new people to catch up with the pack. So we can worry about getting to 33 and 34 instead...
Finally finished off Crota last night. That was my first completion, so you know I learned a ton. And I got a nice toy to play with as well (Song of Ir Yut). So far I've made first runs through the Nightfall, VoG, and CE with 2o2p folks. Thanks a lot guys, and looking forward to playing with you more in the future. Hopefully Bungie will keep us interested for a long while yet!
Turned in mine as well. Didn't really have too many so I think I only ranked up twice. Did get a few new guns and a piece of armor out of it though. So not bad.
You don't have to go to a vendor - just select the commendation from your inventory screen and press X to Use it. Vanguard/crucible XP will be applied as appropriate.
On one Warlock, I put on an arm band for Dead Orbit, and then burned a handful of Vanguard Commendations to run my Dead Orbit commendation past 3. Did the same for New Monarchy and Future War Cult. Now, I can buy armor and weapons from everyone at the tower.
I'll try this with the new vendors at the Vestian Outpost once my experience level will allow me to buy an arm band from them. Still have a ton of Vanguard Commendations. I wonder if it'll work for Iron Banner?
Dammit I wish I had of thought of that. I was gonna try to get Dead Orbit up a couple of levels. Ah well. Most of the armor/gear thats been dropping for me since the dlc drop has been dead orbit stuff. So no reason to really do that now. lol.
Tried using Vanguard Commendations after getting an armband from a vendor at the Vestian Outpost. Didn't work... It just applied the commendations to the Vanguard. :(
