So as I was leaving for my road trip I received an email from Bob Earl himself. He apologized for not being around personally when my order shipped (he was in Europe racing vintage race cars...lucky bastard :D) and wanted to make sure I received a stiffener plate with my cockpit since he saw I was running a Fanatec. I responded that I hadn't, but I would be out of town for a couple weeks and would give him a shout upon my return. Let him know yesterday I was back, confirmed mailing address and he let me know he already had it earmarked, boxed up and would have it off shortly.

That is old-school customer service. Almost nobody in retail follows up on orders anymore.

I dont think Ive ever heard of service like that before.

That's awesome!  It's amazing how something as simple as that can sway you become a customer for life.
