I know the only thing we have in Fm4 is the Ford coupe, but I thought it's still give us a few ideas on how to make 'em look like the older racers. Good stuff!

Jeez stop it,enough already. You're making me miss my truck! I used to have '67 Chevy Pickup that was all custom, much like you saw in those videos. It was Matte Black and my uncle Danny (RIP) pinstripped the whole truck in bright effin yellow, straight outta the '60's. It had fat whitewall tires with chrome steelie's and was so low I had to remove the front bumper and hammer out a roll pan. A 292 ci straight 6 with a staight shot header that came outta the bodywork of the bed on the passenger side. Had a Houdstooth and black interior with a huge benchseat, ape hanger gear shfiter,3 speed,I used to catch people who didnt know with that benchseat, take a corner to sharp and watch'em roll. Man that truck was a beast,no power steering,no power braker brakes,it could make you shit yourself if you wasnt ready to drive it. Man I wish I had a computer,I could show you guys such pictures. I was Rat before Rat was cool. Alas it's long gone, got creamed by a minivan in the middle of the night,by a drunk lady. Now I drive a BS Saturn Sky that my wife wanted,so boring.... ;(

Ardun head conversion A engine in a "Tank" car with Zephyr brakes would be a 50's hill climb ringer.

Cool video. Those were the days when hot rodders knew their shit. You couldn't just pick up a catalog and buy what you want or get on the internet and figure it out with the help of 1,000's of others.

Here's Parcells thinking the internet never became mainstream until the late 80's or even early 90's and now you tell me it was available in the 50's? Time to smoke another me thinks.

Yeah, many of them back then had to make their own modifications. My great grand father was a machinist in Buffalo New York a looong time ago and they made their own wrenches to do the work needed. There was nothing he couldn't figure out or do, his ability to problem solve was phenomenal.

Luxury! My great grandfather used to live in a shoe box in the middle of the road.
