2old2play Forged Maps (Members only)

Please keep map discussion to a minimum! Better yet, start a new topic for more extensive map discussion.

I will list maps in the reserved reply as they filter in. Please ensure the maps have been reasonably tested. I.E. No untested maps. Please do not discuss maps in this topic. Don't even tell me how great mine are (j/k).

I hope to get members to post their completed maps here in such a manner that we can easily peruse them.

Please post the following.
Line 1. Map photo ~(150*100) + Map Name + GT of fileshare + number of players (as link to fileshare when available).
Line 2. Very short description.

I'll update the formatting as we figure this out.

A Halo 4 forge, nearly-block for block, remake of Halo REACH's "Uncaged". Commonly called the most fun forge-built map Reach had. Some "Erosion" specific pieces help this look interesting, it has a spooky-rusty feel. The H4 setups include 4-team CTF, Initial and Random Ordinance drops, Oddball and a setup for Griffball that could be used for assault-type customs. Have Fun! - JAMN

I have an octogon "arena" called [b]Arena[/b] in my fileshare.  It is setup a little larger than the typical octagon.  You can create your own gametype for it. :)

One of my favorite maps from H3, as close to the original as I could get given the forge pieces we have now.

FYI. I'll update the OP when this topic gets unwieldy. I know the photos are a difficult to deal with. I am hoping to not have to redo everything once the Waypoint links to fileshares is enabled.

Accurate remake of Stonehenge sans bluestones on Impact. Should play all gametypes except Grifball, Extraction and Dominion. 2v2 to 8v8. Infinity setup.

That map is gianormous for 2v2 NNN.  Looks like you put a lot of work into it though.  If I was to give one constructive criticism I would say that if you were on the ground you're basically dead.  That ring is too high up for anyone on the ground to effectively fight from IMO.

File Description: Big Trench, Huge Ditch, Large crack in the ground. Most Gametypes. 1FCTF-3Flag-TRACK WARS.
 
- a HUGE multi-purpose forged map. (some say it's haunted)
Built down in the Ravine, on Ravine. Echo... echo... Supports most gametypes. Up-to-16 players. (if the network spirits allow it)
This map has NOT been setup for Dominion or Extraction gametypes - yet... but they might be great on this eventually.
Flood-Regicide-Griffball (play it like neutral-bomb assualt)-Oddball and All Slayer gametypes use available team & random respawn locations.
This map includes many vehicles, One Random and Two Initial Ordinance Drops. No other weapons are on the map. (gremlins keep eating them?)
King of the Hill and Capture the Flag gametypes have special setups on this map. Because Hills and Flags are Special!
 
*(imfs) = available 'In My Fileshare' - downloadable.
 
Capture the Flag Gametypes:
*A key Gravity Lift is removed for CTF gametypes. ...Start walkin' Spartan.
1 Flag CTF (imfs) - Setup is for Red Team vs Blue Team - Blue Flag cannot be grabbed, Four alternating rounds offense/defense.
Regular CTF or 2 Flag - Setup is for Gold Team vs Green Team.
JAMN 3-Flag (imfs) - Flag Carrier can Drive. Setup for Three Teams - Red vs Gold vs Green. (not blue)
 
King of the Hill Gametypes:
*Additional Warthogs spawn with KotH gametypes. ...Bonus! (as more mongoose if you adjust game settings)
TRACK WARS (imfs) - Full-battle version of RACETRACKS (imfs). "Everyone-same-team" gametype, play it like RocketHog Race or Rocket Race. This map has only One Hill, and it can only be held by someone in a vehicle. Score points for time in the Hill. Use Cyan Team, or any odd color, for this.
Normal KotH may work, but respawning is a bit iffy? (body snatchers must feed)
 
*TRACK WARS is also great on RED Wheel v2 (imfs)
*1 Flag CTF is also great on 4-Flush (imfs)
*2 Flag Gold vs Green is also great on Carnage BOWL v2 (imfs)
*JAMN 3-Flag is also great on JAMN 3-Way v3 (imfs)

ps - after finishing this map, and placing the final spawn points, I Half-Sleepy-Wished, Half-Stoned-Dreamt that this would be an awesome SpOps map, IF ONLY I could setup Timed-Enemy Spawns... 2 min. 4 elites appear, at 6 min. 2 hunters show-up, Half way across the center... 8 min. Knights and crawlers! Now wouldn't that be some cool sheet?! Build your own firefights or SpOps missions...

MISSION TYPE: Standard Forge - Basic Editing
Your SQUAD goes in as RED Team - Drop at Orange Base on the shadow edge of canYAWN - Exit LZ with DATA at Miami Docks in 15 minutes.
BRIEF: The usual, ...we're dropping you into a zone full of little covey critters, neutralize them - Flip a switch - and then move towards the center of canYAWN, to the Greenshield Facility. RECOVER the DATA being stored there and get out fast. You will likely encounter little prometheans on the way in to Greenshield - Flip a switch while your inside - and bigger ones on the way out. Move towards daylight on the bright side of canYAWN, to the waterside of Miami Docks. Flip a switch in Cyan Tower and defend the Exit LZ until we arrive. ...of course, Big covey and Big prometheans will try to stop you. Good Luck with That!!!... canYAWN... ZZZZzzz...
