[FM6] 2016 IROC Championship!

Welcome to the 2016 version of the 2old4forza IROC Championship! We ran this series back in 2013 on FM4 and had a blast only his year, we are changing up the car. Just like in the real IROC Series back in 2002, we will be using the 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Ram Air. The series will consist of 3 road courses, 1 city track and 2 ovals over a 6 week schedule. Another aspect to the series is traditional IROC paint schemes (to be provided).

The restriction:

You can tune all parts on your car however you must have your transmission set to the following specs:

Final drive: 3.85 (3.60 for Daytona ONLY)

Default Gear Ratios

ALL TUNES used on race night MUST be shared for Post-Race Inspection

The rules:

Clean racing. If you can't figure that out then we can all yell at you in the party what it means. Acknowledge your pass, no excuse no problems. If we have to review, then there is going to be a problem. There will be random reviews to see if every is staying within specs. There will be harsh punishment for those who cheat. Have fun. It's a video game, enjoy and have fun.

This will be a six week season consisting of 3 races 20 minutes each race each week.

Week 4 - 1/31/16 - Daytona International Speedway – Tri-Oval Circuit

Week 5 - 2/14/16 - Watkins Glen - Full Circuit

Week 6 - 2/21/16 - Road America

The Liveries

In keeping with the spirit of the IROC Series, all drivers will be gifted the approved livery and must be applied to your car on race night. Your car number and primary color will be assigned (for this series only) based on the order in which you signed up for the series. Once you have signed up, I will share the paint with your name and number on it that you will be required to use in the series.

General Rules We expect all drivers to exercise good racecraft at all times. If you're not sure what good racecraft is, It can be summed up in one simple 'Golden Rule' of motorsports: It is the responsibility of the overtaking driver, meaning the car that is attempting to execute the pass, to make sure that the pass is made cleanly and incident free.  If you don't agree with this rule or don't think it applies to you, this is not the series for you.  If you ever feel like a driver is not following the rules, please wait until league night is over, and then file a Racing Incident Report. Our Stewards will review the incident and enforce the appropriate penalty on the driver in question.
