Great turnout tonight and its good to see some of the new guys get some track time. Congrats to Track on the win! Was a hell of a race between Parcells, Jimee and myself with pit stratagy playing a vital role in the outcome. Next week we head to Silverstone International. Hope to see you there (even you Max, I mean if Fitzy can make it to the race.....)
Another really fun race. Parcells and this car seem to really get along.
Still a little pissed off about my pit strategy though because I knew if I stayed ahead of you Grimm we would be tied for the overall series. Furthermore in every race up to this point I’ve pitted at the end of the pit window but last night it just seemed like I would have lost time driving defensive trying to keep you behind me but in hindsight it doesn’t matter if I’m losing a bit of time…if I can keep you behind me problem solved DOH! Still gonna smoke weed before every race though and maybe next week I’ll sign some others to team EBay and assign them “Grimm blocking” duties Anyone interested?
@ Parcells - As I was getting closer to you, I knew it was going to be difficult to get around you cleanly (was having flashbacks of Maple Valley Short) as we were running very close lap times. I thought about pitting early as well but was concerned about traffic coming out so my plan was to just push you and hope for an opening. I was surprised when you pitted and drove my ass off to have a good clean lap or two before I pitted and was again surprised when I had come out in front of you. I was also very happy with the changes I made to the car prior to the race. I stiffened it up considerably (ARB's and Springs) over the previous tune. I knew it was faster by itself but was not sure how it would handle in traffic as it was much closer to the edge then I normally run with. That said, it was fun racing with you last night and I see many more battles in our future.
@ Drivebye - No worries. We had a good size of racers this week.
Another great race last evening with these great cars and great series that Grimm put together for us!
That said, Parcells is going to lay it on pretty thick the balance of this post so prepare yourself for the upcoming desperation.
Parcells is asking for some 2O4F assistance in helping Parcells attain his first ever series win at 2O4F. After 4 long years of trying so desperately hard to win anything really I am finally in a position to race for a series win next Wednesday evening. The problem is I’m 2 points behind Grimm and we’re headed to one of Parcells less favorite racing tracks (Nordschleiffe). Couple that with the fact Grimm set this series up so no one but him would come out on top I’m definitely up against it next week so am calling on the good nature of my 2O4F brethren, who’s in?
What I need are more drivers to participate in next week’s race and for these drivers to focus on “Grimm blocking” but you got to do it right and don’t make it obvious. This will not be an easy task by no means. Last night I had Drivebye and Fitzy both working with me and we could still barely contain Grimm so more participation is needed. If you need to learn how to make it “look real” I suggests you PM Drivebye cause I was following him last night when he brake checked Grimm but it really looked like Grimm ran into the back of Drivebye it was sweet to watch I tell you as Parcells swept into first place. So great job Drivebye but if I may critique the balance of your race I’m pretty sure you could have “accidentally” had a few more offs and not take first place from me causing me to lose more ground on Grimm. We can work on that next week bud.
And a special shout out to team PistonHead’s captain Fitzy. This guy just never stops giving. First he humbled Parcells with an offer to join his top notch racing team where we’ve clearly become the team that other teams strive to mimic and have had some good success. But last night is what team racing is all about. Having not been overly successful in Grimm blocking Fitzy took one for the team and realistically fell to the back of the field. The fact he did this to purposely lose 5% handicap for next week’s race to be in a better position to assist Parcells efforts makes my heart warm inside. So Thanks Fitzy I owe you one bud!
Lord knows I don’t ask for much but if you can find it in your heart to consider putting your own interests aside for a 45 minute span next Wednesday evening to assist Parcells in winning his first 2O4F series ever I will be forever grateful. Unfortunately I have little to offer beyond my sincere thanks (I’m Canadian) and I have no qualms about winning a series using desperate tactics such as what I’ve proposed.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the series. The cars were fun and challanging to at the same time however the true star of the series was the competition and the various battles that took please each week. I for one had a blast racing against everyone, in particular Parcells as it eemed like we were always in contact with each other.
I'd like to ask Parcells, jimmee and Tony place a rabbit in the auction house for 24 hours and let me know once you do so I can get your prize credits over to you.
Parcells - 3,000,000 Jimee - 2,000.000 Tony - 1,000.000
Again, thanks to veryone for participating and I look forward to racing against you guys in the future.

Yes many awesome battles thorughout this great series Grimm but since the outcome was fixed from the get-go you can keep your stinkin credits, Parcells isn't interested.
Thanks for putting on the series, looking forward to the Peugots.

I would just like to say how brave you are to post that, I'm sure no one will make you the butt of their jokes.
not here.gif)
I would not expect anything less from you Fitzy.gif)
I probably won't be able to make this one tonight... some parental intervention is going to be needed this evening..gif)

Please help Parcells!!!
Parcells that was the reason for my mechanical problems to help me lose the 5%, a Parcells win is a team win. I got your back teammate.
You guys can't manage a 1-2 like LMAO did in the Japanese GP series?
We did manage to get all three of our drivers on the podium in a Seat Cup Race. Plus a few 1-2s.
!-2 series finish! I only had one win the entire run, consistency.
You and Parcels have nabbed considerable wins!
Last I checked it was Prebuilt, not drivebye
