Be kinda silly to drive different cars.....takes away from the team aspect in BTCC. I would assume liveries should be similar as well. Some variances, but similar.
But I'll leave that call for Church.
If there is enough interest from the newer guys, might be worth considering pairing a vet w/ a noob as well.....just thinking out loud here. But I think at the moment it's mostly 2O4F vets that are entered anyways.
Since the rules do not mention anything whatsoever regarding teams that makes perfect sense and please do not change your mind regarding teams in this event.

How about it Parcells, you and me team invincible. With your wit and my exceptional driving skills how could we lose.

That's exactly why we can't be teammates Fitzy, it's not fair to the other pylons...oops, I meant racers.

With Parcels logistical expertise and Fitzy's intimate knowledge of the track walls, you guys would be a lock!
Good fun tonight with Church and sWhite, damn close racing. And. Joy of joys my X11 headset works with the Elite...mic picks up everything in the room though, have to find a way of reducing the sensitivity a bit. But there you go Fanatec users, a reasonably inexpensive 7:1 surround headset that actually works with the wheel.
Should be a fun series, short track touring car. Knights kind of racing
So my work schedule was confirmed today. Looks like I can only make it to 3 races; Feb 17, Mar 10, Mar 31. I got myself a great temp position commissioning at a gas plant that is being built and will be working 16 - 12hr days and getting 5 days off..... rinse and repeat till the plant is up and running, could be up to 3 months.
So, if there are full time racers wanting in, please take my spot. Even get hooked up with Kraigger and take my spot on Team Atlantic. If it works out..... I will see you all for 3 fun filled races.
I'm in and thinking about a car I want to race with. Hmmmmmm, FWD or RWD? Hmmmmm, Asian manufacturer or european? ????? Which cars are available from Atlantic????
no pi limit ect just the bhp limit and weight limit.
Dont forget about the mandatory parts.
2 door cars are allowed eg mini, KA , fiesta ect
just no sports cars eg mx5, z3 ect
I am far away from my xbox, so I cannot verify. At http://www.btccpages.com/entry-list/2012/ I have found, that there were a Vauxhall Insignia (RWD right), a Toyota Avensis (FWD?) and a Audi A4 (AWD?) in the 2012 season. Are those cars in Forza available?
@Oldschool It would be fun..
but
isnt the mustang classed as a coupe?
@jdan. Audi = RWD, Insignia = FWD, Avensis was also FWD in the 2012 BTCC
So all 3 are not availabe in the correct configs on FM4 I belive?
You forgot me on the list!!
Added
Also me and Knight have joind together to create team 2O2R
Team America....FUCK YEAH!!!
Who's with me?
If you don't get any takers, give me a shout. I think I may actually have that car too....
sign me up im in
edit:im in if anyone drops out as it seems the rooms are full.
Aero or no? What's the concensus here so far? I hat that big honkin' wing on my focus lol.
I have built some cars with and without.
On the FWD cars I don't think rear aero really matters though.
Just had 5 laps at Silverstone with knight and white and it was very very close :-)
Armor and I are putting together TEAM ALTANTIC LS
People are welcome to join as I will be tuning some cars!
Stupid question...are teams allowed to drive different cars or no?

In regards to the teams I would like to see the same car and paint style please with a Max of 2 drivers.
Although a team can be sponsed by a tuning garage that provides them with cars ect
It would be nice to see new guys paired with vets and to help them but it isn't mandatory to be in a team.

Hello,

JDANKERT
count me in !
I'm definitely going for RWD this time. Thinking BMW. Just noticed my profile pic, maybe Merc 190.
With the older cars just ensure you can add the Race Fuel System.
An car that features Fuel Injection should be good.
I've gone with Knight in the SEAT's as we both won the Factory and Independent trophies in the when we did STCC.
I'll get the livery finished on mine today Church and we'll get the team sig sorted
Any 300hp 4 seater RWD 2450 lbs? Wide open? No PI target?
What's "Salon, Estate or Hatchback style"? Hatchback 's I get. Just no two doors? And if so, why are hatches allowed?
I'm a painter not a doctor damnit!
Hatchbacks are family runabouts as opposed to 2 door performance sports cars, So these are cars that would be seen in the BTCC.
so a 300hp mustang would be compliant?
