Too much science in choosing a car GRD. Why cant you just pick a car because you prefer one on looks, favourite make etc? I chose the Merc simply because i like Mercs. No testing involved. Not interested if 1 is 4 mph quicker on a straight or 1 is 4 tenths quicker than another. These run pretty close enough i think to not spend hours testing.
Just want to know what I will be racing against. It's all for my fun and getting some practice at the same time.
As a tuner, I'm trying to learn and understand the differences between the cars. Have not tuned these race cars before so all of this is a study + info for everyone else.

I have been tinkering with tire pressures for last few months. In real life, lower/higher than optimal tire pressure is supposed to give lower/higher temp in middle of the tire. I am not seeing it in FM4 telemetry screen. The middle temperature is ALWAYS half way between inside and outside meaning tire shape change due to pressure is NOT modelled in FM4. Is this also your understanding; what is your take on it?
If anyone likes the plate on my Audi I can send it to them. Max will charge at least 10,000 credits for his and in these recessionary times I will send mine to you for free.

Actually mine is an exact replica of the 2013 DTM race plate. So there.
Yeah, Fitzy's looks pretty damn close...I just looked at the 2013 Spotter's Guide, which I didn't know existed...
Now, if Fitzy's has the center stripe negatice space so the car paint shows through, it's dead on.

Cheers gunny. The Audi is quite interesting to paint. The rear door is floating over another, more curvy bodywork. It's like a F1 car ran into an A4!
I was going to do a redbull but went for the Ultralight instead.
