I gotta say this months drag is the hardest for me one so far. That much HP makes the launch so finiky.
On the build I used and sent out, I can launch it properly 1 time out of 15 and the other 14 are either spinning the tires or 'stalling' on the line.
Innocentbylaw ran my tune into the 15.6s where I could only get one decent launch, not perfect, for a 15.799. I can hit 15.8s to 15.9s in it when I did get an OK launch, but never that perfect one.
Distractability sent me his, and man, it was so much easier to launch and I got into the 15.6s with that within 5 runs, 4 of which were 15.7 or lower. Much better gearing.
So its the gearing where these builds either go or don't. WIth that much HP, the gearing will be curcial to get right.
Looking at mine, I can't figure a way to make mine any easier to launch without losing the accel and speed.
I looked at distracts and our gears are close, but his build is much different so I couldn't even mimic the gears from his to mine. So I'm shelving mine and running distracts. (thanks again distract!)
