What year were you born? Obvious Question for an older gamer site right?
Did you guys see the demo of The Division 2? Setting will be summer in Washington DC.
Yeah! I got the impression that the setting will be later into the crisis than the first game, with some of the population starting to organize and recover. They showed children playing, and mentioned roof-top gardens, I think. Piqued my interest.
Not sure what to make of the changes in mechanics. What keeps bringing me back to The Division is the feel of the gun play. If they can manage not to mess that up, I'm open minded about most other things.
I've meant to post this for a couple of days now, but things keep coming up - there is a patch releasing today (1.8.2) that is a basically "come back now and we'll catch you up for free" patch. For those of you that started playing again but got depressed because you couldn't get to Tier 5 with the cool kids, they have caches in this patch that give you 4 4-piece gear sets and a set of weapons that can get you to level 256 so you can play all the post-game content. There's also shields in this patch that will carry over to Division 2.
My mistake - it's 4 full 6-piece armor sets as well as a generic (gold) high-level set as well. So you can grab the 4 commendations for having the full 6 piece set as well as the other benefits.
