I've been contemplating that! They were really exciting on a short track like brands indy but once we moved to the bigger tracks there not so exciting...the main reason we chose them was due to not tuning and they are a real life support series.iam open to suggestions that would draw a bigger crowd...atm iam thinking classic dtm or minis?

Bag of laughs mate, I still recon running past you on two wheels using you as part of the road is somewhere in the rules...and those tire marks will buff out smiley

I guess those who are not racing the Clios should be the ones to say what would rock their boat, as long as it's not American or Aussie V8's and a car that at least might support the BTCC past or present.

Not saying we will never do a V8 series but GBR cover that and personally I would like 2O2R to be Eurocentric for ballance.

Thanks Neverender, not gonna lie it hurts like hell atm, chiro gave me a good beating. Seems like its one thing after another lately? Lol just realized buggered got auto spelled : ) I totally agree knight.... I love euro style racing and there's no need to do something that a fellow club is already doing.....I would like to keep our events touring car based....past and present style races :)

Ah backs...I sympathies I suffer from ostio arthritis and am in pain all the time, only really strong pain killers dull it but the side effects are not pleasant either. I recommend 1200 to 1600mg of ibuprofen the large dose is to kick in the anti inflammatory element and trust me it works.

We really are 2old2play/2old2race aren't we? I hurt my back a few weeks ago buttoning my jeans. My back was pretty jacked up for almost a week. I just pulled something trying to button my jeans one morning. Ever since, I have been very careful putting on pants.

Yes indeed, though my race seat has exactly the back support I need, so at least I can use that as an excuse to spend an inordinate amount of time in it. he he

So what's the plan for next week? Do we see out the rest of the season in the Clios or go for an alternative? Personally I am happy either way, just enjoy my Saturday racing with you guys.

Up to you guy.....I really enjoyed the clios on the super small tracks but now that the tracks are getting longer not so much.....I honestly would like something a bit more powerful and challenging than the wtcc cars but nothing crazy......iam open to ideas, mod testing etc.  will just run the same tracks for the remained if we do decide something else......I want to run something that people will enjoy the clioa just dont seem to draw a crowd atm.

Well there are a ton of cars in the basic game that like rF1 over at GBR never get run, seems to be it would be an idea to pick from them. they will have the AI tuned right, will work out the box and we all have them.

What about the radicals? I used to run those with some guys from reddit and they are fun. Also they have different power so we start with the smaller ones and work our way up if we want.

You need to expand your horizon knight :). The radicals and BMW open wheelers are glued to the ground probably the best handling cars in the game! The 350z mod is a good rwd option I ll take a look on my days off and see what I can come up with :)

Did you not see the "I suck soooo bad at open wheelers"? I have tried to drive these bloody things for years, being a fan of F1. It's not a matter of expanding my horizons...Ah well whatever, I'll support whatever you choose 'cause any racing is better than none.

Great call on the radicals Neverender!

I forgot how awesome they were, Knight i just ran all the models at croft and there easier to handle than the wtcc cars......pretty hard to lose the back end on them :)

Hmm...How the hell do get that sodding helmet view into a straght forward cockpit view, looks horrible spread over three screens...not a fan, I'm a tin top lover and a FWD lover and that is just how it is, those are what I can be competetive in...but I'll go with whatever everyone else wants.

There's a helmet mod that opens up the view not sure if or why it doesn't switch views? Anyone wanna run a radical race on boxing at noon ? Laguna ?

sorry for being an ignorant American, but is boxing day the day after Christmas?  If so I won't be able to join, probably be shopping that day.
