BTCC Season 2 skin request and download thread
To save the season thread being cluttered I thought I'd make a skin request and download thread.
Please leave any requests here with..

Below are the completed skins which you can add to your mod by replacing the files in the Vehicle folder.

WOW!!!! Mine looks sick. Although it was supposed to be for Gordon Sheddon, but it really makes no difference as long as it is on that car. Looks like Paul wants the same car, so you do his for Sheddon.
I really need to learn how to do this!

Still need to get the mod downloaded and try a couple out. Probably going to be leaning towards BMW, VW or Ford.

Having real problems finding a car that I'm happy with so I'll just go with the one closest to my real life one, So the Liam Griffin Airwaves Focus. Race Number 208, Name Knight. If you feel artistic a castol themed piant in British Racing Green is my usual livery

I will check the tutorial vid you sent me and see if I can help out with making skins. Seems like fun.

when we add the skin to the vehicles map do we have to get rid off the original honda map ? or just the content inside the honda map ?
You replace the original data with your new data. Dont forget to do the same for the other cars that have been done too.
Knight got a few ideas for your Castrol design.
Would you rather have?..
80's style Castrol design (with red & green stripes)
90's design (WRC celica or Supra JGT)
Mostly British Racing Green i.e the Aston Martin GT3 Le Mans style with subtle Castrol details
More modern Ford style design with Castrol colours

Just paste it in there, it will overwrite the originals, you could save the original Map/Folder just in case you want to run the Mod elswhere with no mismatches...I would just use another light install of the Mod though if I needed to do that.

Unfortunately, as I haven't been able to drive the cars yet, I'm going to have to take a big punt and pick the Airwaves Ford Focus. I'm assuming that it has fairly decent handling...

since there are stil some changes to the skins i would like when everything is finish a compleet map of all the cars in the BTCC vehicles folder so that i can kopie and paste.

What window Number and name do you want?
so all of the skins dont look right when i go to the track. They look fine in the showroom but as soon as i go to the track they are stripped. I tried Kurupts and it did the same thing. Any ideas of why this is happening?
This was tested on my local machine, as well as the server.
This also only seems to be an issue with the modded skins, the default skins look fine. I downloaded mine again and installed but getting the same results.
not sure my friend but iam gonna run some laps for about 30 min if u wanna join?
It does the same thing offline, so it isn't anything with the server.
yesterday evening i drove with knight and the carsskins seem to look ok ? also mine was ok. online as offline
