Aliens : Colonial Marines Season Pass

For those that want it, looks like GBox is putting out a season pass just like they did for borderlands2.  I'm taking a pass on this one, i'm done with season passes and I don't even view this game as a long term playable game anyway with all the titles coming out in March and beyond as devs blow their wad trying to get games out before new console launches.

Both GameStop and Green Man Gaming are carrying listings for the DLC season pass, which is currently available to purchase for £17.99 and $26.99, discounted from £19.99 and $29.99 respectively.

According to the product blurb:

Hungry for more Aliens: Colonial Marines? Purchase the Aliens: Colonial Marines Season Pass and get access to four downloadable content packages at a 33% discount! All add-on content packs are scheduled to be released from March through to summer 2013. The Aliens: Colonial Marines Season Pass will give you access to campaign content, additional multiplayer maps, new modes, character customisation and more!

If you purchase this Aliens: Colonial Marines Season Pass, all included content should be downloaded in-game and NOT from Steam, or you will be charged twice. Aliens: Colonial Marines game required (sold separately).

Yeah, I saw they did this, makes sense with their 8-10 hour campaign length. Gearbox is becoming more and more like EA, nickel and diming everything. BL2 really felt like they left stuff out on purpose, and it's looking like they're doing the same with this title. I'll just be renting it.

All devs/pubs are becoming wallet leeches.  Which is one reason i'm considering going back to PC gaming.  The game i've had the most fun with so far this year didn't cost me a penny to buy... Path of Exile on PC.  It's totally free and better than Diablo 3 in terms of quality.  I enjoy it so much that I voluntarily gave them 25 bucks for doing such an awesome job and I woldn't be opposed to giving them some more money as the game continues to evolve .
