Hey Church. perhaps we should look at getting one of our master painters to do up a custom one off 2O4F/2O2P themed "prize cars. Depending on how much we can get our painters to contribute, maybe we could even get a price for the top 3 or something.
BTW. I'm putting up a division news post right now. Maybe we can get some 2o2p'ers involved.

church can we have proper cars not them shite yank tanks i dont dig them as some people do they handle like a bag of spanners most of them and they are just awful to drive rnd any tracks. am not saying their all bad but most are shite :) but if its rwd cars am in if its front forget me lol i wil out in the first race :)

On Sunday I will post the Manufacture of each car. But you will have to wait till the 8th for the car and track
Just something to keep in mind church...Since we're opening things up to all of 2o2p. There may be more folks who don't have all of the games DLC. You may want to stay away from using any DLC cars so those folks won't be required to shell out any money if they want to participate.

With so many competitors (probably more than you anticipated) have you given any thought to a group stage ala football (association football). Would limit the first round carnage but more complicated.

Iam going to keep the current 1 v 1, winner through, loser out format.
Should make the first round intense.
The main reason though is time TBH. When its 1 v 1 all you have to do is arrange a time with the other driver and your away. Easy if you have a busy schedule
I have updated rule 2 to ensure there is no confusion
2. Once you have completed your race against each other, you must BOTH PM / XBL Message me the result's of the round. If I only receive the race details from one competitor, that competitor must provide the 2 winning race replays. Failure to do this will result in both competitors been disqualified from the championship.
Just PM Or XBL but must be from both competitors saying who won.
If I only receive notification from one competitor and not the other, the competitor that notified me of the results must then send me the replays of the races. Preferably the 2 with the same winner.
If I receive nothing both competitors will be disqualified
thats one thing I must get into the habit of, is saving replays, I am usually that excited that I finished a race I just bash the a button, so from now on its, Race, Finish, Save, right I think I've got it
Is there a 2O4F WC logo that we can stick on our cars?
If not I have an idea for one and could take a stab at it.
There is no official paints or logos for this event.
Although it would be nice for everyone to showcase there talents.
Once all this is wrapped up, I am hoping (with a little help from spaz ) to make some sort of event film and it will look pretty if we have some nice cars on there done by our resident pro painters
On the logo front if you want to make one up I am sure we could designate it as the official logo and will make it available from our SF ect

Grand so, I never remember to save replays...mind you you watch me get matched against an Alien in the first round.

Highly doubtful but something to keep in mind. Each heat race should take less than 30 minutes to complete or you'll lose the finish in the replays.
All 3 races together should only last 30 - 40 min.
Trying too keep it short and sweet
Can get a bit boring lap after lap when there are only 2 of you on the track.
