The Momir Basic format was fun and different. I would not have been playing if Nite did not let me borrow his Momir. Since it came down you him and I, I’m conceding Deck Choice and GM Duties to Nite. :D Thanks again man!

Ok, I'm going to try & make up a new format with avatars. I want it to be evenly matched but with more choices than Momir. What I came up with is three two spells that we will al have access to through using the first 3 avatars 2 avatars shown plus Karona to throw a monkey wrench into things. If you don't own these it'll cost 81 cents 76 cents to get them. (Prices are from mtgotraders.com).
1:) You need to make a deck with 60 basic land of any flavor, Make a creatureless pauper deck (as you can see, you're going to need forests to put creatures out).Your deck should be 60 cards exactly, not including the 4 avatars 3 avatars.
2:) Add the four three avatars shown below to it.
3:) We will need to play under Freeform Vanguard rules again.
4:) New rule: We need to set the life total @ 20 and the cards allowed @ 7. This because the avatars give us 40 life otherwise and it makes the game too long.

So how strategic can you be with randomness?
I have no idea if this will be any fun until I get a chance to play test with somebody but one thing for sure, it'll be different. If anybody is short on $$$ I might be willing to buy an extra Karona or Peacekeeper or two to lend you. Gotta let me know before Sunday though.

Nah, it only looks complicated because of all my editing. Just make a 60cd. pauper deck without any creature spells, then add the 3 avatars to it. You'll be fine.
You can have any common land, just remember you'll prolly want some green to use the Master, but it's not a requirement. I would suggest having a lot more land in your deck than usual though. In the early part of the game you'll be switching lands back & forth with your opponent and might not have what you need on hand. I found you need to be consistently laying down land in the early part of the game to have a decent shot.

I checked the weather and it is all over the place, so I have to pack for hot and cold. I don't have enuf suitcases! If I don't make it, you will know why. but, I will try........

I bought an extra set of each of the avatars above. I'm going to play-test tonight with my daughter if nobody else.
Maybe hold off on buying these until tomorrow.
I might need to make a change or two. There's no way to really test in solitaire because Karona & Peacekeeper only work against an opponent.

Mmmmm This can be very tricky i think.
You can choose not to play green and let your opponents critters come to you.
You can choose to play green and your critters can go to your opponent.
Karona is a tricky avatar and can even leave you without lands.
Anyway i've made a deck and hoping for the best.

I knew this was going to be a very tricky format so í made a deck that i hoped could deal with that.
This is what i played:

So i used a lot of "populate" cards and some fast tokenmakers just to get a lot of cards on the table pretty quick.
Played a lot of funny and very close games.
