I would be interested in being an alternate. This is both because of my inconsistent attendance and that I don't really feel my skills really add value to the more difficult raids.
Skill isn't really an issue, especially with a regular group where we can learn to compensate for one another's weaknesses. And none of us can guarantee that we'll make each and every Friday. However, I'm looking for people who can commit to showing up most Fridays with rare exceptions.
I have young kids so we are home on Fridays and that is the perfect time for me. Count me in! Hemi im pretty sure you are on my Friends list. What is your GT? Im Von Zant.
I won't be in a position to commit until probably October because of current personal and medical reasons. Might be October before anyone other than "try-hards" will have finished prerequisites and leveled up enough to raid. Not sure now what those requirements are. Anyone dig out those details yet? Probably will become clear next week anyway -- geez just 3 days left!!

We're pretty far from filling out a regular fire team at the moment, but maybe it will fall into place later. Anyhow, I'll be on this Friday at 9pm Eastern to mess around with the beginning of the raid and then maybe grind some heroic public events for succulent golden engrams.
FYI: my XBox1 Tuesday/Friday raid group is now full, but I saw almost enough postings here to start a second group run by Krak64 (Hemihuman). Hey, the more the merrier! So, if you're still interested in forming a second Friday group, why not post here again, tell your friends, and lets see if we can build up our raiding population a bit. Krak's a great team leader so don't be shy if you're new at this.
I can be available as an alt; daddy duties don't usually allow me to log on before 11pm ET on Fridays. If you ever have a late start to a raid or need a last-minute sub feel free to send me a msg (GT: Ver7igo).

Here's a grand summary of everyone I know who is interested (some of the interest was conveyed outside this thread) and possibly available, though some of this info is a little old and people may now have other commitments. Assuming the information is still current, we have five potential regulars and a host of alts. Please let me know if I've misunderstood or the your situation has changed.

Thanks Hemi. If there is a plan/need I can log on 9 central on some Fridays. Out of town this weekend though. Otherwise normally on at 10 central sharp and always available as alt. Iknow this is like hearding cats so thanks for taking lead on it, whether I get to raid or not.
I'd previously agreed to be an alt for Duke's group several Fridays this month except for Oct 13. I plan to try to get a group together that day (I'll post about that later). In the meantime, I'll help facilitate if the rest of you want to try to raid on Oct 6th, 20th, and 27th.
Looks like the size of the clan now will support 2 separate raid groups if people are interested. Right now a little confusing with essentially one group which apparently has been requiring one or two alts each raiding day from those who are interested in a separate Friday group and others wanting to and being able to raid but without a fire team to do so. May want to straighten that out a bit.
