Wrath of the Machine, Fri, Oct 21
If you're interested in running the Wrath of the Machine raid this Friday, October 21 at 9-11pm Eastern, post below. First come, first served, but you should be at least closing in on 360 light. We will probably start from whatever checkpoint the Tuesday night group gets. If you sign up and find out later that you won't be able to make it, please post again here and let us know so we can find a replacement.

We'll be starting from the siege engine checkpoint this week!
Roster: DEEP_NNN, OldnAchy, Ra Darkman, Soul Terror, BLAMNation, and myself (Krak64)
Alts: gmantx
Dammit.
My lovely spouse just announced that she's taking over my gaming space for part of the evening to have some ladies over for dessert and coffee. This will probably run over past the start time of the raid tonight, so this is an alert to the alts to be ready to go.
If you don't see me online at 9 eastern, please go ahead and sub. There's still a chance though that I'll make it.
DEEP_NNN, OldnAchy, Ra Darkman, Soul Terror, doorgunnerjgs, and myself (Krak64) ran the raid tonight. We did the best I've seen on the siege engine, and then did our first clear of Aksis Phase 1. We had only messed around a bit with Phase 1 previously, so I was delighted to get through it so quickly! We started up Phase 2 a time or two just to see what it looked like. Hopefully we will start learning that part of the raid for real next Friday!
Glad it helped.
We finally finished off Aksis Friday night! We had fun having the blind lead the blind as we stuck to our "no spoilers" rule and figured things out.
This raid is a good combination of challenging mechanics but it's not so harsh that you have to scrap a run if one person dies or messes up their "job". Coordination is still extremely important, but there is some flexibility on how to approach certain situations.
I also like we have more variety in what weapons to use. We did find some weapon sets are better than others for certain sections, but I feel like we have more variety than King's Fall.
I still think VoG is my favorite raid because it's such a complete experience, but WotM comes in a strong second place for me.
Way to go folks. :)
We too have been remaining mostly spoiler free. We try to figure the levels out for ourselves before hitting youtube.
I've noticed a wide range of weapons, armour, class and subclass selections being used. I like that way more than a narrowed selection of choices.
Congrats, gang! You're gonna love Phase II
