Sucks I missed out, tried running it Saturday night with some other 2old2play people and we just couldn't do it. We would always get at least 1 Ogre that would teleport on us. We only attempted to detonate all bombs once and one of them was off a little bit so it's timing was off just enough to screw it up.

Yeah, saw you guys on for quite awhile after Duke and I jumped out to let Brijo and Matt in.  Kept thinking -- "hope those damn ogres aren't teleporting again.

The teleporting ogres really suck. I've heard someone say that if you avoid shooting the ogres while they are spawning in, then they won't teleport. I'm glad our teleport problems last Friday were not serious enough to have to experiment with this. Of course, if you delay shooting the ogres, the risk is that they will simply walk away, never mind teleporting.

I've also heard that the ogres may start teleporting if someone dies in the Shade. Can't verify this.

I don't think that we really know why they teleport. Bungie has acknowledged that it's an issue they are investigating.

Do not delay in starting to kill the ogres. If they even get a step or two out of their spawn points your challenge can go to shit extremely quickly.
