Some of us PC guys play it. We've had Starcraft nights in the past and have had decent turnouts. I'm always down for a game, even though I'm the worst player in the world.
I think it takes people looking outside 2o2p for members to build a community around a game. In the past, we have brought in new members mostly by reaching outside 2o2p to other forums or communtiies to tell people about us.
That usually takes a group of individuals who have the desire to build that community here and I'm not sure SC2 has those people in it. I myself own the game and play once and a while, but I don't frequest other forums or communities enough to bring in new members. Id love to see some SC2 tournaments on 2o2p though. It's a blast to watch.
Have it. Play it. Love it. Haven't played in awhile and I'm really not very good despite my best efforts lol but I still love it. It is strange that it isn't bigger on this site being that it is a game that would go back to a lot of our youth and that the SC2 community for the most part seems to be a little bit older and little more mature say than the COD community. But I guess so many are just playing on consoles now?!? that it seems to have passed a lot of the people here by.

Now i install it on every PC/Laptop/New build with fond memories of the past and hopes to play it in the future but the reality is.... i just don't . Starcraft 3 the way it was released irritated me so i never bothered to pick it up. May 50 bucks for 1/3rd a game indeed. I hope Blizzard isn't as stupid with Diablo 3.

They already cut PvP out of D3 so I'm pretty sure they are on the road to stupid.
It is the only game I play anymore. It has completely taken Halo's place in my lineup.
It is also taking over MLG in terms of the most popular game to watch. It really translates well into watching on the computer and in the competive arena.
You should check it out. There is a bit of a learning curve but, the game is a blast. It would be great to have a few more people on the site playing the game. There are currently 6 or 7 of us from the site that get together and play 3 or more times a week.

I play it 4-5 nights a week. We've had some good 3v3 and 4v4s in the past, but I don't think there's been anything organized for a while.

I play a little SC2 as well. I just played one game this past week but I need to play it more often. I am sure we could get a SC2 night going.

I feel the same way. At home I have 3 laptops and 2 ipads but not a desktop and I just cant get into gaming on laptops.
