Crowded 360 servers?

Crowded 360 servers?
So I quit playing BF3 for a few months since none of my friends were playing it any longer. The last two days I decided to jump into a few matches. When I looked for a server before I had it set to CQ,East coast only. Since the settings are still set the same I noticed now that the servers I try to join are all but full. lowest is @ 22 players.Not a problem I guess if I am playing rogue but how is this working if there is a squad of 4(not that I have 3 other friends playing) Did something change? Less servers now?
Just hit refresh a few times, you'll find a server with more room
Hardcore ou normal servers? I play by default on east coast servers, because of my shitty connection, and I noticed the same thing for harcore servers, there seems to be always a good number of empty normal servers though, which allows group of players to join the same game.
Besides south servers seem to be less crowded in general.
Playing by myself just a few minutes ago and there were no empty east US servers.I did refresh several times as I usually do but no luck. Funny thing is I keep getting these emails from EA wanting to know why I haven't been playing.....LOL......I guess I should add this to the list of reasons.
