Some of us are old and drunk so we don't remember what happened 10 minutes ago. :)

Man, I drove around stopping at places for a couple hours last night. Still could'nt find a copy.

Wow. Really?? Its hard to imagine that it's a sold out game. Did they really ship such limited quantities?

Think he was looking for a rental.

I was looking for a rental. We have redboxes and a couple mom&pop places but nothing like blockbuster where they would carry a game like this.

Yeah, this game is very limited unfortunately, same thing happened when the Dynasty Warriors Gundam games came out.  I have no idea why Bandai doesn't have faith with their mech titles in America, in fact, they even stopped all planned future releases of Gundam anime in America.

I really like this game but man, whoever designed the menu system needs shooting. It's terrible. Buying parts, comparing parts, attaching parts - which should be really fun - has been made into a massive headache - one that slowly turns into a migraine as you unlock and purchase new equipment. I disliked the menu system before I was used to it. Now that I am used to it, I hate it. What were they thinking?

The game itself is really good though. Had some great fun on co-op missions with my friend. There seems to be loads of potential for different tactics using different types of AC's that compliment your team mates - that is, if I can be arsed to wade through the terribad workshop system.

Weird, wonder why they didn't leave the garage the way they had it in AC4 and 4A. Those both worked great.

I think everyone agrees that the UI needs to be fixed so that it flows better. I also found there are a few unnecessary things as well. The fact that you have to buy new decals is lame. Also buying a workshop and expanding has no real impact on the game that I know of. The one on one AC battles durin Order missions are too easy. In AC4 and 4A I would rage quit cuz they would be so difficult.

Ok, this is still classic AC. There is nothing in common with games like Mechwarrior/Assualt or Chromehounds. Honestly, I can go on for paragraphs of hate so here is the quick and dirty.

If you prefer your mech combat to be fast like Gundam then here you go. Remember to bring your laser swords.

If you prefer heavy, hulking behemoths of destruction like any other mech series, then you will hate this game.  Remember to bring your Gauss cannons and howitzers.

If you are a good enough pilot you will rip your opponent to shreds before they get close enough to use their laser swords.

Not that I dislike slower games, but there is a place for faster games as well.

Well, I did not say it is a bad game. I did want to clarify that this is nothing like MA/MW or Chromehounds.

It was extreamly diffucult to locate a rental copy and I wanted to make sure that people that I have been long time friends with(since I joined 2o2p, I joined this site to play CH back in the day- FYI) did not make a purchase they may regret.
