Finding Bigfoot

Not sure if any of you watch this show but the episode tonight in Utah are the mountains in my backyard. I'm a pretty big skeptic but it kinda gives ya the creeps when stuff like that is happening that close to ya. Was a bit surreal.

I've watched that show a few times, but I can't get into it. Their belief in bigfoot makes everything they find/see/hear evidence of a bigfoot..... there is no other explanation, it's always a "squatch"

And why do they even bother to bring a "skeptic" along with them? Everything that broad says get's shot down by that dude... "no! obviously it's not a common animal found in these woods sitting on that branch, it's a squatch!"

I'd be pretty creeped out if that guy was near my home, but I assume he moves on after a few days.

The fact that people believe in Bigfoot, Nessie, ghosts, psychics, homeopathy, acupuncture, creationism, and too many et ceteras to list mystifies me to no end. People's ability to believe has no bounds.

Why should it surprise you? People have been believing someone actaully rose from the dead for the past 2000 years.

Oh I'm not surprised. Just can't understand how the logic piece of the brain gets completely bypassed and how ideas that completely don't equal get rationalized in the brain.  Critical thinking is a lost art and we could use a little more Occam's Razor and a little less gullibility.
