I am Chris, GT is unsub073 (been using that gamertag since the psp days)  I am a huge Criminal Minds fan, and that's why the GT comes from.  I live down in here in Texas.  I am relatively a newbie on this site, only about 3 months.  Currently playing SSX and COD if I am not playing Forza 4.  I like watches and guns.  I blame Cotter for pushing me into the Spec racing on Thursdays. cheeky  Also married and no kids.

Haha, Cotters a pussycat when it comes to being pushy! That's rich!

Being shy gets you nowhere. I'd rather be pushy thanks.

Hi my name is Ciaran I have been playing racing games since I was a kid, the game that got me hooked was Revs on the BBC computer it was a F3 Sim that was out in around 1986. I live in Dublin Ireland, married for 10 years with one boy who's 9. Yes we fight over who's turn it is to play the Xbox. You might not know me when we race as I am very shy and like to stay out of the way.

Parcells is obviously deluded if he thinks I am fast, I am happy to be within a second or two of the quick guys here. Joined 2O4F last year and have met some great people here and it has made the racing much more fun. Hope to see you all on the track, although you might not know Im there due to my shy and retiring racing style.smiley

I remember Revs, that was the one that led me here all these years later.  "shy and retiring racing style" ?? Yeah, right.

Hey guys, my real name is Craig and I am a lawyer in Oregon.  My Xbox Live GT and rFactor user name is Lawyer4Ever (clever, hey?), and my PSN ID is Zero7159.  I joined the clan in February 2011 after finding 2old2play on the net.  I am 38 years old, married, with two kids, 5 and 3 years old.  I guess I started playing racing games when I was about 7, when I got Car Wars for the TI99-4/A.  I have been playing Forza since Forza 1 came out in 2004, after several delays.  I was hooked on Forza 2 and Forza 3, but I did not really discover the game, and sim racing in general, until I joined this clan.  Sim racing has become my main hobby.  I play rFactor, iRacing, Richard Burns Rally and Project CARS on the PC, GT5 on the PS3 and Forza 4 on the Xbox 360 (of course).  I am pretty hooked on the racing gear, and have dropped some serious coin on Fanatec gear over the last year as I have gotten more interested in sim racing.  I currently use a Fanatec Forza CSR Elite wheel, Clubsport pedals, and CSR H shifter, all of which are mounted to a Rennsport wheel stand.  As a back up, I have a Forza CSR wheel, second set of Clubsports pedals and CSR H shifter, all of which are mounted to a wheelstandpro.  It pleases me to know that three different clan members are racing with wheels I previously owned.  I recently upgraded to a triple screen set up, which I am using for PC for now, but I might buy extra PS3s and 360s in the future so that I can do triple screen in Forza and GT5.  I built two computers last summer, and enjoy tinkering with electronics.  Making sure my wife's iPad2 and iPhone 4 are working properly is an important priority for me.  The only two non-sim racing games I am playing regularly right now are Star Wars Old Republic and Mass Effect 3, both for PC, of course.  At one point, I was doing racing series every night Monday through Friday.  I have had to curtail that in order to secure marital harmony.  My wife doesn't mind me sim racing so long as I do it later in the evening, after the kids are in bed, or early in the morning on weekends.  My current series are rFactor on Wednesday nights via Gone Broke Racing, and GT5 on Thursday nights with Parcells2's crew.  I am looking forward to Spazcar rFactor on future Tuesday nights.  I recently started watching Nascar, and one of my favorite events in iRacing is the Nascar Carburetor Cup.

Brandon here. Gamertag btpe. Married, turn 29 next week. I'm a technical rep for a locomotive manufacturer. My wife and and I just had our first baby, a little boy. Can't wait until he can sit on daddys lap to steer in Forza. Between having to work a lot of overtime and taking care of the boy I have been really inactive for a while, but always get the itch to race as time allows. I'm not real fast, just like the sense of driving cars I'll never be able to afford.

Just started doing this with my 21 month old son. He loves it. Now he follows me saying "downstairs...wheel" since my rig is in the basement. He'd take over the thing given the chance!

Back again- older, less brain cells, and somehow slower. I just sprung for Forza 6 and making it a point to make time for it. Didn't realize how much i missed it. Sad to see this forum doesn't have the action it used to, but hope to find a series that will work with my schedule once I consistently remember which button is upshift & downshift.

Hi my name is John, GT Shadders, just turned 50 years young, and live in the West Midlands UK, I am full time carer to my wife who is disabled, my daughters boyfriend got me into xbox last year, I have tried a few games, platform, FPS football etc, but have been engrosed by Forza4 and tend to play it everytime, I found this place via the forza forums while looking for info on finding races that didn't resemble a demolition derby, which is what I seem to find all the time on the public lobbys, it got to the point where I stopped playing online and just palying season and event select. I am not the best racer out there, about average I suppose, I dabble with painting cars but again no expert but have done a couple of nice jobs, well nice in my own mind as for tuning I have no idea what I'm doing and usually end up making the car undriveable, I tend to just click the quick uprade button and thats it.

OK thats enough wittering from me, time to go and do a lot of reading forum posts and learning what I can, I look forward to meeting you here and on track when I work out how to get into some races.

Cheers John

Spam out those friend requests to us and whatever you need, just ask. Don't be intimadated and just dive in. I did only a few motths ago and have never looked back.

I haven't been around in a while so I thought I would introduce myself again.

Hi my name is Kurt aka Newkid. I am 40 and am retiring from the Navy in July after I finish my 20. So should be around a bit more as I go on leave in April. Though I will need to find a real job up here in Western Wisconsin.

I like to call myself a tuner though I really don't sell any of them on my SF. I do it more for myself than to sell them. I will work on some for friends though.

Count me back in... as a 2O4F member from the FM3 days, hoping *SOME* of you remember me...

I'm from northeast Connecticut and I'm a big ALMS and Grand-Am fan.

I'm current employed as an IT Director for a Home Health Agency/VNA and I've been in Healthcare IT for 20+ years.

I also really love Bimmers and have an 2003 E39 540i/6-speed with a lots of DInan goodies installed.

The car is almost 10 years old now (57K miles) but is still a blast to

Looking forward to joining you guys again online (and literally getting schooled)!

I've been racing with F4 since last October when it came out, but haven't done much online as of yet.

I'm still using my MS wheel with a TV tray for a wheel stand but I just ordered the RennSport wheel stand with the adapter for the MS wheel.  It now also comes with a pedal stop.

Cheers!

Hi, Dog8mySk8 here. I'm from Indiana and have a shitty night job so I never am in spec events. What I do tho is race, public private whatever, and distribute paint and tunes. Hit me up!

Hello everyone,

My name is Geoff and I am a motorcycle mechanic in Kitchener,ON. Canada.  I am married and have a 9 yr. old son and 6 yr. old daughter and am still waiting for that million dollar cheque to come ;)  My name (MotoGP74 or MotoGP 74 on XBL) comes from my obsession with motorcycle racing.  I have been following bike's premier class since 1989 when they still raced the 500cc two-stroke beasts.  I have raced a little in the 600 supersport class, mini-moto and most recently with karts.

My friend (Tegano73) introduced me to Forza and this site.  I would have to say I am more of a bike guy than a car guy but have found Forza blows away any bike racing game out there.  My favorite tracks are of course ones from the motoGP series: Laguna, Catalunya and Mugello.  Once the kids are settled in bed I enjoy playing Forza and when I'm not playing it I also play Battlefield 3.  I also play the drums in my spare time.

I have been racing in the Thusday night ProAm series since I was introduced to this site and have been very impressed with the clean racing and the warm welcome I have received.  See you at the track guys!

Geoff
