Introduce Yourself here!

Welcome to 2Old4Forza. This thread is for folks to get to know eachother better. So introduce yourself & tell us as bit about you. Please be sure to include your XBLgamertag info as well as any login/screen names for other platforms (PS3, PC).

I'll start...

My Name is Jason Cotter.Although everyone I know just calls me "Cotter" due to the fact that there are 3 Jasons's withing my circle of close friends. I"m 36, Self employed as a hose cleaner. Did I mention that I"m a complete Forza- fanatic. Evn though I've been taking a bit of a break lately, I'm proud of this little spot I created within 2o2p.

As most of you here already know my other true love is musi. More specifically, the guitar. I"ve been playing for over 20 years now & will never stop.

I would also like to offer my services as a Forza racing instructor to anyone who's interested. I'm not the fastest member anymore, but I've taught several of them. Sessions are available by request, simply pm me to set something up.

XBL Gamertag: JCotter

The name is Jason ... only my mother calls me that though. I answer to Jay in real life or psyber online. I'm getting up there in age I guess... 39 at the time of this posting.

Been here since the beginning but I was MIA for a year and change before the launch of FM4.

I really just play Forza with a little dabble in Halo when I get the itch or a new version comes out.

Time is hard to come by so I tend to hotlap and run rivals but hope to be getting back into lobbies very soon.

I run myForzaGarage for public use and the special features such as event hosting here at 2O4F.

I'm t generally am an easy going guy and if you are ever interested in a tune I built, just ask and I'll happily gift it over to you.

This place truly is a great place and rare out in cyberspace.... ENJOY!

Right...

Name Paul Wickham, but I kinda like being known as Knight. I earn a crust as a swordfighter and fight choreographer...this of couse means most of the time I am broke and now and again making a mint. a real feast or famine sinario.

Like Cotter I am also a muso and Guitar is my main love. I have a small recording studio taking up two rooms of my rented farmhouse in the heart of the the Irish countryside. I can get a tune out of most instruments and write and record my own music for my own entertainment.

I have been married for some thirty years and have that rare thing, a happy marrage.

Forza and 2O4E have taken over my life somewhat and I spent more time at my wheel and in this forum than is probebly healthy. But hey, it keeps me out of trouble smiley

I'm the same Parcells from 2O4F V2 forums, not getting any younger, not getting any smarter.

What's up folks.  David here, 31 years old.  GT is the same as my username.  I've been part of 2o4f since almost the very beginning.  I joined up just after FM2 launched and haven't looked back.  Since then I've gotten married, had two sons and joined the Navy Reserves.  Because of all this I'm not as active as I once was, but I try to be as often as life permits.

Recently (just over 2 months ago) I started learning to play the guitar too.  Now I am finding my free time even more difficult to manage.  Not sure if I'll ever get back as deep into the racing series here as I was before, but when I do get a chance to get online I'm always happy to race with clanmates.

David here, 44 years old, durtydawg1 online. I own and operate a repair shop for automobiles and motorcycles.. I did race motocross for a while and that was a blast. AMA dist.3. I also spent a few years(15) playing drums in various rock/blues bands in the local scene. As far as Forza goes, hotlapping and rivals is where I find my fun.

Church Pro here.

My real name is Gareth.

I run a Removals and Storage Company based in Sheffield England and my passion is Forza 4 and 2Old4Forza.

On a blue-moon you might see me playing the following games - Halo Reach, GTA4, rFactor, IL2 1946, MS Flight Sim 2004 and some other bits and bobs.

I have strictly set gaming days as set by the wife and these are Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday from 7.30pm GMT till 11.00pm GMT. (Exceptions may appliy)

I have a 1 year, old daughter and currently just waiting for my second daughter to arrive anytime now. (Wife is 39 weeks pregnant and yes I have now got a T.V)

If you are new here you might here some of the other lads talking about a thing called a Church manoeuvre but iam unsure to what this is so it would be best for everyone to not think about it wink

And oh yeah I have never rolled a car in this game and if anyone says different its all lie's!!

PS. Some people ask me about my GT and where I got it from. Well the answer to that is Red v Blue an Halo video series.  One of the main characters was called Church.

As I was unable to have just Church I went with Church Pro and that’s about it really.

My name is John Lavoie and i go by the handle "superstocker" because i race a Nascar Super Stock car in real life. I've just found 2O4F but from what i've seen so far you guys are going to have to put up with me for a while smiley

I mostly race at a little 1/4 mile bullring called Monadnock Speedway in SW New Hampshire. Been doing that for 15 yrs. and i just won my first championship this past year. I'm 52 now and i don't plan on quitting anytime soon....perhaps when i get so old i can't climb in the car anymore i will but even that's doubtfull....I'll problaby figure out some contraption to help me.

I make my living turning wrenches on people's cars at a small shop in centrally isolated Antrim,NH....we're in the middle of nowhere. But I am pretty good at what I do, so if you have any car troubles feel free to ask for advise.

Forza scratches my winter racing itch and during the summer i'll hardy touch forza...but come September and the end of racing season and i'll be back into it just as hard as ever.

here's a wild finish i was involved in earlier this past year...I'm the 2nd red car when the video starts

Hi, I'm Chris...I have an addiction.  :)

Been a member of 2O4F since March 2011.  I did very little online racing prior due to the nature of the public rooms I seemed to get put into.  Started running FM3 with a small group from VWVortex.  Raced w/ RaddoHuey there and he steered me in this direction, much to all your demise.  :)

Live in NW Washington.  I work at a local refinery as a scheduling lead by trade.  Cars are my past time (currently own an '89 Helios GLi, '73 914 & '94 Mustang Cobra), and have recently gotten into learning the guitar.

In addition to Forza, I'm also active in rFactor (PC), GT5 (PS3), Dirt3 (x360), RacePro (x360), Civ5 (PC), Rock Band 3 (x360), Rocksmith (PS3) & Civ Revolution (PS3).

No shit John!  I grew up in Brattleboro, VT.  I used to go up to Monadnock w/ the old man on a pretty regular basis growing up.  Small world.  And congrats on the championship.

Names Mike,

Folks call me Old, Oldschool and #@#$!!

Gamertag's x2o4fxOldschool, secondary tag/S/F under FungalPoppy2.

I paint, but occasionally someone leaves the keys in the car and I go for a joyride.

I've been with 2Old4Forza since last June(?) and when I started I was the guy everyone reset the race timer for. There's no shame, someone has to turn the lights out, right?

Since I've moved up to a solid middle of the pack racer, and I sincerely believe that's where the fun is. After all, I'm there!

If you see someothing on either of my two storefronts, post up and let me know. If you can't message me online, try here, lists pretty full most of the time, another aspect of being in the clubhouse here. Have pretty much made my bank and am generally predisposed to handing out colorful attempts at greatness, to those that need paints.

I tend to use big colors and have the mentality that less is more. So if you'd rather see the car than a 999 layered rolling commercial, I'm your man.

Dave here. Gamer tag is Zed Architect but everyone just says Zed. I'm a licensed architect in RL (I'm clever with the gamer tag, eh?) but I work as a facilities project manager for a large law firm. I'm 37 with a wife, a daughter and a son. I'm usually on line after 9:30 or whenever I manage to get the family tucked in bed.

I never tried racing in RL but I am a big fan and wrench on my own VW's. I owned a Corrado for 15 years and it was my baby. Sold it last year for a CC RLine so I can haul the kids a little easier. Not sure what will truly replace the Corrado but it won't be for a few years as we just bought a house.

I found this place two years ago and had a blast for a few months. When my son was born I couldn't devot much time to Forza but played a little F1 2010 when it was released. Now I can get on often and having a blast. Been messing with rFactor last last week and I am loving it (even though I suck at it). I'm not a front runner, but I prefer organized, points-earning series rather than just racing a bunch of different cars. I try to race as clean as possible.

See you guys out there.

In RL I’m Paddy. I’m not Irish, though I would quite like to sport the accent at times. Actually I’m British/German which has been a major influence on who I am now, having lived for extended periods in both countries as a child and adult (if you have not been to Berlin or Heidelberg, and you get the chance, do it). At 40 years old, it was only meeting my wife and having 2 daughters (3 years and 4 months old) all in less than 4 years, that caused me to calm down a little. They are this obsessive old farts guiding lights.

Been playing Forza since FM1. FM2 turned into an obsession and hot lapping was my thing, though I spent quite a bit of time in A class CPL’s where Atlanta, Sunset, Mugello and especially Maple (think I still hold a very respectable time on that one)  were favoured stomping grounds. RWD and mid engined layouts are my bag.

I was massively disappointed with FM3. The no CPL and AWD dominance really screwed it up for me personally and it was back then I joined 2O4F to try to offset what I thought I had lost. I think I joined about a dozen general track nights back then but with my new responsibilities as a husband and dad and what I viewed as a tainted game it never really took off for me. Did a lot of painting and auction house. Finished it etc but just lacked sparkle. Wasted opportunity really but….

…..it was the break I needed. FM4 put so many things right that were wrong. don't get me wrong, there are still issues but I can at least have some fun in this version. The first time I knew I was going to enjoy it again was when I put the Zonda in a 300m fish tailing arse waggle ending in a wall after about only 5 minutes of playing the demo. RWD drive looked good again. And suddenly the clan made sense…..making the most of it now.

I get to be totally OCD about grinding out times for EUSL. Happy happy joy joy.

For those that don't know me, I'm Mick or Mikey.. I'm 31 and I've been racing Forza since Forza 2. I joined the clan just as Forza 3 was coming out.

I'm terible at tuning and painting.. I'm predominantly here for the sport and the banter.

IRL I work in shipping/ receiving for a trade school in San Francisco. I have been a professional mc for a veriety of diffent genres of music since I re-located to the states.

My gamertag is my alias, I was called "Child" as I was always the youngest of my groups of mates growing up,  so it just stuck.

Aside from forza you may catch me regularly playing a call of duty (take you pick which), Dirt 3 or  dominoes or such like.

I have a bad sense of humor, which i like to share with everyone.

for me this group is my social life and stress relief, I dont go out much aside from work and am yet to find something that I enjoy as much as driving.

Hey folks,

Real name is Dave, couldn't come up with anything better for a GT 8 years ago.  The truth is that at that point in time I was refering to everyone as "Snapper".  Thinking about changing the GT soon.

I ahve a strong affinity for Vintage cars.

I was new to the FM franchise and only started playing the game in September 2010, almost a year after it had been out.  I was a GranTurismo fan but got tired of waiting for it's release doI picked up FM3 to kill the urge for racing. Well, I was instantly hooked.  Found out about the clan at FM.net and joined in October 2010.  It's been the best thing because since then I have met some great guys in the clan.  Everyone I have met here has been extremely helpful and open minded.  Folks here will share anything you ask for and anything you contribute will be paid back to you in bunches.  There are people to help you paint, tune and race better.  There are tons of events and there is always someone willing to race casually.  When I first joined up I was painfully slow but Cotter, Spaz , KRGDRK and the other guys put up with me and helped me get faster.  The one moment I really got hooked was when I had gotten more consistent and found myself embroiled in a pitch battle with three other racers for a position low down in the order.  You see, I didn't matter whether it was for a win. It was about good, clean and tight racing.

Lately, I've been working on creating events with fun to drive cars that are competative and can race closely.  I have been the 2O4F East President for a while now so anyone looking to join the East club just shoot me a message on XBL.  GT = SNAPPY DEE

Good luck with the 66.  Make sure you convert it to 12 volt, the 6 volt electrical is a PIA.  I owned a 66 Bug for about 10 years.  My Dad took it off my hands a few years ago and completed the car's restoration.

I would also love to see the bugs. I have a 1971 Cal Look bug that I inherited when I married wifey. Promptly narrowed the front beam, rebuilt the enigne and fitted twin Delortto. A bigger engine is in the pipeline.

Hey Steve. Lets see some beetle pics.

On a side note, what medium do you use for your sculpture? If you shape wood, perhaps we should talk about you maybe doing some "beautification" to a custom guitar body.

I am Chris, GT is unsub073 (been using that gamertag since the psp days)  I am a huge Criminal Minds fan, and that's why the GT comes from.  I live down in here in Texas.  I am relatively a newbie on this site, only about 3 months.  Currently playing SSX and COD if I am not playing Forza 4.  I like watches and guns.  I blame Cotter for pushing me into the Spec racing on Thursdays. cheeky  Also married and no kids.
