Quest for Level 30&31
Hello Fellow 2old2play members, although I joined back in 2005, I haven't been active for quite some time. Ironically, it was when there was another Bungie game that I was last involved with group. Point is, I'm new to the fold. As the subject suggests, I'm looking for some other players that still need to reach level 30 or higher. I've got all light level 33 armor now, but need a Gazillion shards..lol. This group would be doing the activities that are most likely to reward upgrade materials. Please reply if you would be interested. Again, my apologies if some groups are already doing this that I haven't found.
Eh. There aren't really any set groups that I know of, just a bunch of loose confederations of people. Shoot invites, hop into rooms, and help folks along, and they'll help you too. 30 is pretty easy to hit post DLC patch with a little effort.
Not that it matters now...but the daily story mission yesterday was pretty difficult. I was never able to completely finish. Anyone up for weekly tonight?
Yes, yesterday's level 30 heroic daily story (the Warmind) was tough for one person. But.... did you know that you can jump to the swoopy pipes, then jump up to a ledge on the central structure, then jump right onto the very tippy top of the central structure. Nothing on the floor can harm you. Shooting is a little tough, but seeker grenades bring them out. Also on the very top is a dead ghost....
Get the clodhoppers (like me) up to the top first, then let your best jumper activate the console. Shooting the wizards from the top was so much fun... : )
I had heard a few days prior that a ghost was on the pipes in that room. So, last night my daughter and I were looking for it. One thing led to another, and she got up to the very top and found the ghost (she's a great jumper). So... I thought let's finish the mission from here. She jumped down and activated the console then jumped back up, and we finished the mission from the top. All this was after we did that mission twice on the floor. It's a hard mission...

If I'm on tonight, I'm up for the weekly, although I can only do the lvl 28 at best (currently sitting at 27). I tried to solo the weekly on level 24 and got my ass handed to me in the first part (in my defense I didn't have much time and I probably should have picked a different gun).
Also up for running VoG if anyone is willing to take a weakling 27 with no VoG experience and middling weapons. :)
...ah the forboding in that post is killing my 3hrs of sleep mind right now!
Good times last night though, that's what this game is about! GMan, sorry the storm ended up knocking you out before we could finish.
Seriously. I was so tired last night I didn't even bother looking at any loot from last night.
Hey Hammer...Yeah..the freaking power went off during our transition to get the relic...got back on but you all had filled the spot...was really wanting some shard loot too..dang it.. Lol
I wanna run the Vault three times on hard before reset too. Anyone down for that?
I'd love to do a Hard VoG. Only been through it once when I was level 29.
