TDB: Strike & Exotic upgrades
MAYBE SPOILERS BELOW. READ AT OWN RISK. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
So, I completed the 3 story missions last night on one of my characters, and got the weapon reward. There were two more quests given after that, but they seemed rather mundane. I could not figure out how to access the strike though. Does anyone know how? Do I have to do those other two quests first (one of which is incompleteable for a set time period).
Also - where do I go to upgrade my current exotic weapons to the new TDB damage ranges? I couldnt find it.
To unlock the strike you will have to do 4 more bounties for Eris. The frist one the kill 25 Knights/Wizards ;then three seek and destroy type missions in the Cosmodrome. Each one will require yo to find and kill a target and the mob it will spawn. You can run all three bounties at the same time. To find the first one, move through the Rocketyard as if you were doing the Sepkis Prime strike, and it will be near the base of the Hive ship (look for the green light/orb). The next one is in the back right corner of the room where you first encoutner the Thralls (Lunar complex). The last one is on the balcony that looks out on the satelite dish in the Last Array mission (jovian complex I thnk).
Xur will sell the upgrades when he comes to the Tower. Stock will rotate like everything else Xur does.

We'll have to wait until Xur comes back and hope he has the items we want to get reXurbished for the upgraded damage or Light. Once reXurbished, you'll lose all of your perks, but the base damage will be raised to 302 and you'll have to unlock everything again - same goes for any armor pieces.
Also, you'll need an exotic shard for the final exotic damage/defense boost, that can either be purchased for 7 strange coins from Xur or dismantling an exotic.
So long as Xur has the Icebreaker upgrade and an upgrade I can use for one of my warlock exotics (or a sweet new armor exotic), I'll be happy. So I should probably be ready for disappointment...lol
