waited 25 minutes, finally got into a Team Slayer map on H2A. The game literally put 6 red players on one team and 3 blue players on another, and of course I was on the blue team. We got smoked.

Getting really tired of this.

Geez, and this is supposedly after they fixed that issue. Fail.

BigBadMike and I had a decent afternoon in MM. Got matches quickly, played 6 games in a row with no problems. Had to restart the game off and on after that streak but did continue to find games. Then we ran into trouble trying to get a party of 5 together. It would randomly drop someone, send one person off to a game alone, etc. We discovered parties of 1 or 2 people got games without problems.

One slightly laggy game that I remember. The rest were fine. It was LOTS of fun. The maps are gorgeous and it plays well.

The roster was hella messed up. I never showed up on Mike's roster even though I was in his party. It would say I had 2 people in MCC, then I'd check my FL and there were 6 on.

It's a LOT of fun when you can get a game. Don't give up guys. It is getting better. I'm not saying that its okay that I went out and payed $350 for an Xbox and $60 for a game and have to wait for it to be fixed. I'm just sayin if they fix it, it'll be AWESOME.

I agree. The one game I played of Blood Line CTF was really fun. This is what Halo Reach and Halo 4 should have been.

I hope they fix the Roster issue. I hate the Xbox One dashboard interface.

im seriously dissapointed in this release, everything is broken

we have had some some good customs a couple time, but there is just so much that is broken, if they do manage to get it fixed it could be epic, but the list of shit thaat needs to be fixed is beyond ridiculous. Biorod and I haave been wondering if they even beta tested it seeing how every single thing in the gaame is broken.

anyway, feel free to aadd me for customs , ill be around

I'm glad I haven't been able to play. I turned it on for CEA and Halo 2 campaigns for about 30 min each. Nothing felt right in either.

Maybe it will be fixed up by the time I can play again.

uh campaigns aren't the problem.  They are great, and run great.  What was your problem with them?  do you just not like the sharper graphics and higher framerate?

Campaigns are glitchy as hell too.  Achievements won't pop.  Sometimes it doesn't register your progress.  Nightfall and terminal videos won't play for people.  Sometimes it will load the wrong level or freeze during loading or at the end.  Co-op problems.  Etc, etc.

Interesting.  The only issue I've had of the ones listed is that Achievements WILL pop but they may not show a toast for it, or may pop late.  But they're still popping.  Haven't had the other problems and I've played 1 & 2A.

Two issues.

1. Reading a lot about campaign glitches and framerate issues.

2. Both CEA and H2A controls just didn't feel right. Mushy or laggy. I was dying in H2A and didn't know why.

I hadn't played anything in over a week and starting up an old FPS was hard on my brain. It will be a week or so before I have time to play them so I might as well wait for the patches. At least I can drop into Destiny for short periods and enjoy myself.

Controls felt a little wonky to me too but I just chalked it up to not play h2 in a long time

343 has stated that Wenesday will be the release date for the MM patch. In the mean time I see a lot of people hosting customs on here, I probably be trying to get in with some of you guys. I don't care what flavor of Halo I just need to shoot people lol.

I wonder if putting 4 different games with different engines on one disc is far more complicated than we think. Esspecially in MM where you have to load different engines for whatever game is picked. I can't think of any other game to ever doing this, but I could be wrong.

I didn't have any issues with Titanfall at midnight, Destiny the next morning, COD:AW next morning.  I'm not a Halo fan but I do feel bad for y'all.

Well all the excitement of the launch is gone for me. It was extremely frustrating sitting up till midnight and playing around three games all night. I was on here all excited trying to talk about the game but that got crapped on. It's just been irritating and I haven't bothered to try to party up with anyone really. There's problems with the roster and voice and everything. I eventually tried to make the best of it and have been acheivement hunting alot. I don't bother in trying to rank up cause I hear it will be reset.

Don't bother trying to get matchmade acheives cause they're all glitched.lol I wondered about taking a full party into matchmaking as well. You could only try it in BTB though as their is no party size restriction. If anyone tries that let us know how it goes. How is the experience been in playing co-op with others been? I heard it was laggy but haven't tried.

The other night I played a few H2A ranked games. The first was 5 on 4, the second was 2 on 5, lol and the last was 4 on 4. The last game matched up fair but when the 2 hardcores started owning us up with the snipers I tapped the back button and saw I had host and booted them from the game. Yeah that's F'ed up I know. It's just a snapshot of what's going on in this atrocity though.

Hopefully I'll get to hook up with you guys soon and hopefully the Thursday Halo nights will be back and on MCC soon.

no, there are 3 that are glitched.  The other 50 or so work fine.

I should have said matchmaking. I have most of the multiplayer ones. Ones that say "in matchmaking" wont unlock. The play as an elite won't unlock for me either.

yeah but they MM will pop, just not those three.  Shields Up, Zealot, and MVP are all currently glitched.  the others do work.

The campaign playlists, at least in H4 are wonky.  You can't go back and restart a level from the basic playlist lobby.  You either have to restart the entire playlist or resume from where you last finished.  Once in a level you can restart, but the counters, whether score or time don't quite reset.  For someone like me who runs LASO for example and then wants to go back in and do a walk thru, this is really problematic.  I suppose I could go into regular campaign and set the skulls the same as the playlist and emulate LASO (or whatever I am trying to do) but this is a work around that should not be necessary.  Not a major issue but just another example of an incomplete or not well thought out function.

I haven't even tried the terminals yet so I can't comment on those.  As for chievos, I did pick up a couple, but haven't been paying attention to that.

Deep just saw your post.  I don't know if I mentioned this before, but it felt like my controls were a little out of wack as well.  At first I thought it was the XBONE controller, but I don't have the same problem with other games.

That's not a bug.  It's how a playlist works.  They are made so you run through the entire thing in order.

I've been playing campaign as well, since the lobby system is so broken it's impossible to join anyone. The higher framerate makes the aiming feel different. I had to move my sensitivity down to 2 on H2A to compensate. I've heard some streamers on Twitch say the same thing about turning down the sensitivity because of the 60 FPS.

Also, keep in mind that each Halo game has felt different from the others because of differences in movement speed, field of view, etc. After 3 years of Halo 1's wider field of view (90 degrees?), Halo 2 felt really strange when it first came out thanks to the very cramped 60 degrees FOV. That alone makes the movement feel slower (for the same reason you feel like you're walking slower when scoped in) and the aiming feel different.

I'm buying a new modem tomorrow. The cable company gave me one of those modem/router combos that's a pain in the ass to configure. Xbox says my NAT is moderate, so I tried to follow an online guide to fixing it and had no luck. So I'm getting a plain old modem to use with my plain old router. Hopefully this will solve some issues. Never had a problem in any other Halo game, though.

The Xbone version of Xbox Live seems much more sensitive to this.  They also haven't had ten years to sort out the issues like the older version.  Good luck with the new router.

Sounds like the "testing and certification process" is more rigorous for the patch than it was for the game itself.

I guess I'll have to continue focusing on the CE campaign. This doesn't surprise me in the least though.

I've actually been up at night the last few nights thinking about the current state of affairs.  I have never and dont plan on playing an Assasin's Creed game ever, but the release debacle with that, and to a lesser extent MCC have me pretty furious.  Server and connectivity issues are one thing considering the massive numbers involved, so I give MCC a little bit of a pass.  There are other games in the recent past that were sold in a pre-beta form and never fixed, and the devs just took the money and moved on.  Drives me insane people get away with it.

Graphical glitches that remove the faces of main characters are not excusable and scream:  "This was a rushed piece of shit shoehorned into a release window between Destiny and the MCC so we could actually make some money."  This kind of crap would have showed up with the tiniest effort at QC.  http://www.gamespot.com/images/1300-2733278

Most EULAs prevent class actions against gaming companies now which means they have no fucking incentive to ever fix the problems as they are not accountable to anyone.  They are not always enforceable, but they are expensive as hell to fight and avoid.   You can however individually arbitrate them.  Its more expensive for the consumer (or his lawyer actually) but also potentially more expensive for the defendant if the facts are obscene enough you can get a large award on something that would otherwise be a "small" case individually.

Shit like this makes me furious and is completely wrong.  Most people cant be bothered to do anything about it though and dont like fighting companies with essentially bottomless pockets.  Drives me damn crazy.
