Just got the Red Death... then went on to the moon to practice with it. Makes easy headshots on low level Fallen with 1-2 individual shots. Takes down Fallen shielded Captains (lvl 12) and Servitors with a couple clips worth. Then did a 22 Strike on Mars. Works well on the Cabal big & little - I'm thinking that the Red Death without any powerups is a little more effective than a fully tricked out rare Scout. Little to no recoil. Looks really cool...

After seeing you use it Friday night (I think it was Friday we played together) , I picked it up Saturday. I am really pleased with it, and yes, the little artistic touches are nice, I especially like the little skull and crossbones in the digital sight. It's even pretty effective in the Crucible.
Wow 15 in the clip? I just started this bounty now and I want to quit it.
Anyone else using bad juju? How is the damage?
well, the perk is if you get a kill with it, it automatically reloads the entire clip. Sounds nifty, and I assume it hits hard, but leaves little room for error... Id love to hear from someone that actually uses it.
I just got the bad juju bounty. 15 mag clip sounds horrid. I just lucked into Bad Seed Down and it has a 30 mag clip with an option to upgrade it further down the tree. I'll finish off the bounty and give it a try.
This week he had icebreaker for 17 coins. Holy Fack strikes are gonna be easy now. Everyone with best sniper in the game is gonna change everything.
I bought 2 . One for each character!

Holy frack! I did a daily heroic story solo (lvl 20 Gate Lord) with the Ice Breaker. It did 2132 damage on a Hydra with each shot. Killed the Gate Lord with about 6-8 shots. It's a 1-shot on all the smaller Vex and 2-3 on a shielded Minotaur - even though it's a solar damage rifle. You can do a lot of shooting if you pace your shots.
Use the vault at the tower to transfer weapons (and inventory items) between characters. Once your secondary character is leveled up to 20 he/she can use your best weapons too.
Finally, something for Warlocks besides Sunbreakers (I know he had the Apothesis a couple of weeks ago, but I missed it). Today he has the Voidfang Vestments. I think I'll probably use this more for PvP, because I lose all of my Intellect and Discipline since it only had Strength. Still it's a nice piece for my first exotic armor.
Oh and the Ice Breaker! I was able to get it too.
I had 31 strange coins to spend. 13 for the Voidfang, 17 for the Ice Breaker and 1 coin spent to get the item needed for my exotic bounty - so that all worked out perfectly...lol
I have 31 coins. Bought the titan pvp helmet. Didnt get Icebreaker because I assumed it would be 23. If it is 17 I am buying it when I log on.
I finished the Invective quest and got it this morning. I am about to finish pocket infinity and bad juju too (I had 3 exotic bounties at once). I need to figure out how to get materials for all these weapon upgrades. I guess you can buy purples with Vanguard marks and shard them?
Does Ice Breaker get any better with upgrades? My solar and void snipers are currently way better. Ice Breaker can't drop much of anything other then grunts so far.
ice breaker does crazy damage. I have a fully upgraded Final Boss (solar) and it does 3-4x the damage. Plus it regens ammo. You never run out. You get a bullet every 4-5 seconds. The mulligan perk is additional in the tree but that will help too.

You must have a different Ice Breaker then me. Mine sucks.

does yours not do what I said? Because then you don't have the Icebreaker.
I picked up the Icebreaker and love it. You can just set back and snipe them all and never have to worry about ammo. I just got off line from a strike where to guy with the least amount of kills was awarded it after the game..... Can you be pissed and happy for a guy at the same time??

Yes. God yes. Also, funny bumping into you yesterday randomly.
So, we had three dudes doing stuff on the Moon when I see this guy's Gamertag. "Huh. It looks familiar." Sure enough, it randomly put us on the same server, and in the same neighborhood, so although we weren't in the Fireteam, we were all patrolling around and picking up loot together. That's the one small jump that I wish we could make in this game: the ability to see a server populated (or a higher chance, at least) with random folks from your friends list that also happen to be in the same area at the same time. If both sides check a box, it should also put you in the same team in matchmaking, too.

There may be something else to spend those strange coins on this weekend

I couldn't hold my water. I bought Red Death. It even speaks to me. It says, "Bad move DEEP, bad move. lol".
It'll get better as it ranks up but for now, The Strangers Rifle seems better for my death grip.

Man I'm trying to hustle up 4 coins before end of day Sat.

Is ice Breaker the one the regenerates its' own ammo? Or is that a raid gear sniper I'm thinking of?
Yep, regens ammo and solar damage.
Bought the exotic engram. Nice helmet for my worlock that I don't have. Oh well.
I need the damn Warlock helmet!

buy Icebreaker. I repeat, buy Icebreaker.
I'm real leary about buying it. Doesn't look much better then what I have and hovering over it's tree didn't move any sliders.
Dude. Solar damage. Regenerating ammo. That's all you need.

Came up one coin short, one damn coin. Not bad considering I needed four yesterday.
