I don't care how you play the game, but here's a tip...

If you saw the exploit on Youtube, it's going to get shut down soon.

If you want shortcuts to levelling and loot, go out, find them and then don't broadcast them.  I promise you that a game this big still has many areas available to let you avoid what you consider pointless grinding and that I consider the game.

As for the economy being complicated, my only experience with anything of this scale was a true MMO, but a very early one.  Ultima Online was much more complicated by a good big factor and I think the reason behind that choice was to provide for a variety of playing experiences within a single game.  My understanding with the newer MMO's is that it has gotten even more complicated.  For me, Destiny hits that sweet spot.  I don't want to read a book to learn how to play your game, but I don't mind spinning my gears for a while, making some poor decisions and learning from them. If that's intolerable to you, this probably isn't the game for you.  I don't think the multiple currencies are a design flaw that Bungie didn't detect until they released the game.  I think they're a planned mechanic.

Another valuable lesson I have learned is that if you are unhappy with the game, you still are probably not going to get your money back.  No matter how much you piss and moan in here.  It might be best to just stop playing and cut your losses.

Also, stop whining.  It's really unattractive.

This, exactly.

Also, right as I was about to log last night I got randomly invited to a group That needed a Titan for the final boss in VOG.  That was an absolute blast and the encounter was anything but a bullet sponge.  We didnt beat it in about 10 tries, but damn it was fun.  If Bungie iterates and improves on this model, I can see myself playing for a long time.

I actually agree with this, the raid is fun. You have to work together, there's boss mechanics you need to learn and deal with, it's a good time. But you can only do it once a week. Maybe months from now after there's been DLC and other added content we'll have more raids and maybe they'll take away the stupid loot once a week rule and it will be more fun.

But for right now, I don't see a difference between the loot cave and any of the strike bosses. Either way you stand still and shoot at a target that barely moves for a long time and hope something purple drops. If there is a difference, it's that you can get to one of them right away and do it for hours, the other requires half an hour to get to and can only do it once.

I leveled up without loot caves/exploits.  Nothing left to do but trade this pile in for $40+

It was given it's chance.  Too bad the disc can't be composted.  If it could then maybe shit would have some competetion.  Take it with a grain of salt.  It's just my opinion after reaching end game with a heavy dose of sarcasm.  Had my fun with it and it provided entertainment for a couple weeks.  Honestly not a bad game, not a good game, but a below average game.

I guessI dont go to enough websites or youtube because I never heard about this loot cave and never saw much reason for the queens missions since the rewards weren't anything I wanted.  Even if I had, the thought of shooting a hole for hours wouldn't have been compelling in the least. I played and have leveled to 25 without exploiting anything and I have enjoyed the game. Crucible needs some tweaks, gameplay needs some tweaks, etc. but having played MMOs for a long time, that is the standard. They are constantly evolving. WoW is old as shit and they shut down for a bit every week to tweak things so with these kinds of games, I just expect it.

Overall Destiny today isn't amazing, it isn't terrible.  It's good.  It's more fun than anything else available so I'll give it a chance to see if it becomes more fun as they figure stuff out.

If they have a fan base left for years.  I, like many others, will proably ditch it for the next game on my radar.

if that's the case, you'd do that with pretty much any game.  This game has only been out for 3 weeks.  There are things I don't like and things I do, but give it time.  If you can't, then that's just how you game.

I usually don't make quick trades unless I intentionally bought a game, like Madden 15,  to kill some time 'till the next game on my radar comes out.  I don't buy a lot of games either so only time will tell with Destiny.  I may just shelve it while I play something else until the first expansion comes out.
