Deep's causing trouble again!

Ultimately, it's not the pros who determine whether a game's multiplayer is a success, failure or meh. But rather... "is it fun for the masses?"

We'll know by early next year... ;) It's already a success as far as I'm concerned. I'm stoked to be able to play games I missed out on, even if I'm not a competitive (read good) player. Once the newness has worn off, I'll likely gravitate toward H4 again.

I think the Pro's can play a very large part in determining the success of the game.  I just don't think they have.  I think they had an opportunity to do it and squandered it and then began pointing fingers at everyone else ultimately to the detriment of the game as well as their own product.

I see a lot of the same faces and names involved with the new up and comer to the competitive gaming market and I'm not convinced they have the skillset and savvy to monetize what I think is a very marketable element.

I know the field is crowded now with online shooters and that "e-sports" are now moving towards more DOTA style in terms of the watching public, but I would love to have a solid, unified competitive community that not only understands the nuances of Halo, but also feels a sense of responsibility to it.  I think those two things together are a potent combination.

And Dixon is dumb.

I can hardly wait to see the upscaling of Halo 4.

Also, Forge. 343i hasn't given us a lot of details on pallettes per title.

I curious to see how well Halo 4 plays one the One. I think it was just to much for the 360 to run smoothly. One of the pros also said something about the descoping. Is 343 updating Halo4 also? I won't be surprised if in the end Halo 4 is the most played game.

No changes to H4 have been mentioned.

H4 multiplayer just might be the most popular multiplayer but it'll be a few onths in for that to happen, in my opinion.

I have predicted that ulimately it'll be Halo Campaign/Sp-ops co-p wll be the biggest winner from this package. So much depends on the netcode though. If it's smooth, it'll be wonderfull. CEA co-op was nausea inducing with peer to peer connections.

Some of those people did not look old enough to have played H2.  That one kid was like 13,  how old was he when he started 4?

Pistola looks younger every year.

Check his attic for a portrait of decaying old man getting horsewhipped around midship.
