Finally got the bike done. Here are some photos!
As some of you may have noticed, I've been working on my motorcycle for a while now and I've finally got it done and ready to ride... For now... Until the next idea hits.
My 1970 Honda CB350, the "Cafe Rat". A fusion of a classic take on a Japanese Cafe Racer and your typical Rat Rod.
I would say a good mix of primer, rust, brushed aluminum, scallops, pinstriping, and noise! A big reason you haven't seen me online much...
Yes! Good stuff Driveby, thx for sharing!
Pretty cool. I would love to get a bike, but wife is afraid I'll get killed on one with all the idiots on the road.
is that shoe brakes I see up front and where the hell is the seat?
You sir, ARE nutz, not that you'll have any after riding that thing...
Save on condoms I'm guessing, won't need 'em....
Can you still order those little quarter fairings for around the head light? I know the year predates them but I had one factory on my '81 cb900f and I loved it.
Great stuff Drivebye. Very cool!
Thanks guys.
@ Oldschool, Yes sir, drum brakes. I like them, and they keep the bike looking vintage. The seat isn't as bad as you'd think. It's no long distance bike by any means, I just like ripping around town and cruising out to the local shows. As for the fairings, I'm sure someone out there makes them for this year cycle, but I've never been a big fan of them so I never really looked into it. I like the more open look.
My nuts still work, I think...
Those brakes ARE crazy lol. The bike is way cool! Flat slides!! The tires make me nervous haha.
I'll have to get a shot of my seat, just to show you why I'm scared of yours hehe. Mines got everything but a TV remote.
Now the Sportsters got a damn uncomfortable seat if you're into that kinda thing...
Don't suppose you've calculated mpg on that beast yet? If you're like me you get to having fun and mpg goes to hell.
