Wed night gathering or Run What Ya Brung 5/21/14
Wed Night is in. 8pm cst, if we need an earlier time let me know.
This is a good spot for testing tunes, Friday proved to some of us we needed it. I for 1 have to rethink several tunes.
Here is to hoping for a couple of more guys to get involved.
400 pp
Racing Soft
No Nitrous
5 laps
About anything else goes.
Tracks: what ever is called out or I choose.
Grim is doing the hosting duties for these races, so look for his room to join in. Thanks
I'm in Jimee (By the Way...DO You like to be referred to as Jimmy-Jimee-Jimeez or something entirely different?)...Like the kick up to 550...Will try to find something competetive or massage the 500....
P.(arcell)S. Love the Boost until Burnt caught me on the straightaway like I was standing still then he was gone!
Jim or Jimmy is fine with me.
I will probably have the same cars just up the pp on them and work on some tunes.
The Boost thing is just in case we get to spread out during the race (just an idea)
I should be able to make it. Regarding the boost, it will give you a false sence of tune quality as you will be much faster if you fall back
I'm in too!
The last session on Friday night was fun. Looking forward to seeing you all on the track! I'm getting my car list all ready for battle.
By the way I don't like the idea of running the boost. I'd rather race straight up. Can I also suggest the idea of running 3 classes? We could run 450, 500, and 550, cycling between the three? I tuned a bunch of cars to 500 thinking we were sticking with that, but I also have a lot of 450s and 550s. Those seem to be the popular classes for tuned cars...
No Boost
For Wed we will run the 550. We will talk about what pp to run the following weeks.
Good to see 3G going to try and make it.
Jimmy....Sounds Good...Bring some slower cars!!!
I had the slowest of the cars last time and now you want me to bring even slower cars
At least you won a race, best I got was a 2nd.
Cya Wed.
I know Jimmy but you catch on FAST!
Me Too!!
Well you just have to wait till I open the room at 8.
If you talk nice and buy me presents I can open it at 7:30 but seeing you can't do that in GT ya gotta wait.
Your not the boss of me ;)
Well shucks...
More time to build cars
Thanks to Wheels, Grim, Burn't, and Driveby for the nights activities. I think all but Driveby won 1.
Next week we will be moving down in PP as in 450PP
Still looking at an 8pm cst
Thanks for hosting Grim
No Jimmy...It was Wheels at the bottom of the barrel this week...Seems as if it was "I Hit the Wall" week...No Wins and between wall banging and spin outs last place came easy...AHHHH....Hopefully next week will bring a better result...Thank You and 3G's for Hosting....
Drivebye...You are doing a great job...For sure you are no rookie...Just getting use to GT6 like some of us...Let face it...So far there is a food chain of racers...You Have the Bottom Feeders like us and Jimmy and then there are the SHARKS like 3G's and Burnt. That Nismo of 3G's Was TOTAL Classic...I had to laugh my ass off when I seen him running it...I said to Myself...WHAAAAAAATF???....You gotta give me that DeTune 3G's!!!...OUTSTANDING!!!
Home early again, still got some pain in the posterior and it driving me nuts. Doc again tomorrow. Enough about me.
Got to agree with ya Wheels. Grim and DB can ya post up the tunes for the AWD cars you guys have?.......please. Those were some awsum tunes.
kthxby
2nd That DB...If you feel generous I too would love to have that tune...You will be just fine DB...And when you do remember those that you use to swim with....It is good for the soul to be humbled every now and then...
Oh I know.
Life in general has been frustrating lately, but hangin' out racin' takes me away from all of the bullshit.
Kind of like chillin' and cruising the sea of great motorized vehicle videos on youtube...

On another note: you missed some very good racing last night in Parcells room. It was a blast. The finishes were some of the closest I have had racing between 3-4 cars at the line.
It's the LSD that is still a puzzle for me and I needed to see how others set theirs up. Thanks again.
That's the dumbest argument I've ever heard to not join Thursday night racing so see you next week. Sometimes some of us aren't drinking but its kind of expected and most definitely encouraged.
You're right Parcells, although I phrased that a bit off. I was really drunk. I would have caused more problems for everyone than usual. I should be around for this week for some racing so I'm going to cool it down with some beers, and stay away from the hard stuff this time. We'll see you then.
On another note, my itch to get a nice wheel had greatened. My cousin has the Fanatec CSR with the Elite pedals. I'm in love with them. He's had them for a while now and I've been playing FM4 when I go over there to visit. Now he has GT6, and playing that game with the wheel may have prompted me to really consider saving up to get one. We'll see what happens...
you would have fit in just fine. most of thse guys had just enough booze to make me fast ;) In the Thursday room the cars are pretty much stock, no tuning allowed. The Mazda 6 touring car was a great drive.
Jimmy....Heading Out on Long Vacation....See You When I Get Back!!!
No worries Wheels. Enjoy the vacation
