Understandably so since he's one of your drivers. Parcells is just as excited for almost the same reasons.
For those that don't know which is most everyone excitement and Parcells are entering the 19th season we've placed bets on IRL drivers throughout the season (we each have a 5 person team). This year the trophy (yes we have a trophy for this, duly named "Armchair CART Champion") requires a new base for what I suspect will proudly display Parcells name as the 2014 champion.
Original trophy only accommodated engraving for up to 18 years and to-date we stand tied at 9 wins a piece.
JPM was running around 10th in their 2nd practice times until he got mixed up with some tire around turn 10. They got the car started back up eventually, and he was able to drive it back to the pit, so the damage couldn't be too bad.
We had a 3 hour rain delay that caused the Pirelli World Challenge race to be cancelled for Sat. There's still one more scheduled for tomorrow and the weather forecast is looking like sunny with no rain, so hopefully it will go as scheduled @ 11:25 EDT. In the IndyCar qualifier, Sato earned the pole position. That race will be at 3pm on ABC.
Cant wait to see how Montoya does.
