Forza Horizon 2 for Xbox One - 2014 Release
Looks like someone already let the cat out of the bag. I am still recovering from the Forza 5 purchase. LOL!

I didn't play the first Horizon. Might play this after it goes down in price if I'm not too busy with Witcher 3, Elder Scrolls Online, or Dragon Age Inquisition.
The first one sucked, doubt I'll pick this up. Maybe when its laying in the 10 dollar bin,and I'm bored! Once Destiny comes out....
I never picked up the first one, but if this has split screen I will pick it up. Wife has been wanting to play some games with me, but the only game I have on the Xbone that does split screen is FM5 right now.
I have to agree, fool me once, and I can see it sitting there on the shelf, not gonna leap again. Sadly the biggest kicker for me was the noise in the paint booth and the cocking of the interface when trying to paint a car was flat out aggravating. Ad in the constant whining IN GAME for me to go spend my money and it was Hell no and yank it out of the disc player.
So no preorder, maybe a rental first, which for me would be a first. Never rent games.
I DO rely on Mr. Jones review and opinion on games. He seems fairly competent and has a similar point of view to my own, scary...
I hope we get a review copy of Horizon 2 because spending my money on another Horizon game makes my butt clinch. There will be no pre-order.
This is a Day 1 purchase for me. I thought Playground Games did a nice job on the first one. It was a pleasant surprise when I fired it up and realized that they had strengthened and improved the FFB on my CSR Elite wheel. My expectation is that the FFB on the TX will be even better. Turn 10 and M$ are definitely on to something with this next gen FFB. ISR's review of Forza 5 covers it nicely.
For me Horizon was ok, but just that, ok. I will probably get Horizon 2 if it goes in the bargain bin.
I too was excited about the first Horizon (since it seemed at the time of announcement to be Forza 4++), pre-order, LE, etc, and was thoroughly disappointed. The only thing "Forza" about it was it's first name. If I wanted to gain experience for crashing thru billboards and teasing up road signs, I would have purchased grand theft auto. It sat on the shelf after the first couple of days, until I figured out late last year I could
use it to up my Forza rewards to Tier 6 (and help build my bank roll in Forza 5).
No pre-order here this time. I think I'll go the same route as Oldschool and rent it first.
No interest. No time to paint, tune and race cars in all the games I've already got. Besides, I didn't like the first one.
