Sometimes when I'm racing I will crank the stick all the way to one side to get a fast motion spinning effect on screen. Doesn't bother me but the wife can't stand to see me do it.
Only time I felt a little sick was when I first went triple screen on the race rig, soon got over it, but for the first hour or so I had to keep stopping till my stomach settled.
As compared to a couple of days ago...yeah. It was a five hour op, and turned out she had broken her arm in five places. Over doing it as usual. She is happy to be home though, and so am I.
Good to hear you guys are on the upswing Knight. I haven't replied or commented much on it, but have been following the updates over the weekend and keeping you guys in my thoughts.
My weekend was a bit hectic. Had the car detailed, got the new (used OE) wheels installed on Friday, went to a car gathering and ran a 1.5 hour endurance race (sim race) Saturday, went to another local car meet up, breakfast, Historix race (sim race), helped a friend drop off his car for transmission inspection/repair and managed to find some time to chill with a cup of coffee and a book on Sunday. Oh yeah, and tried keeping up with our Seahawks during the big game while everything else was going on.

Nice motor mate, very good condition. Yeah things are settling down, good job I can cook. Back to the hospital on Friday to see how things are progressing, but Sally is sleeping well and that is great, sleep is a great healer.
Spent less time at the rig of course, but managed the monthly SRR race and that went okay, and qualifying for the biggy tomorrow, should be fun.
Put a pumpkin on your head...that should keep out most of the rain. @Kit...that's bad news about the viral infection but I'm glad your chemo was only delayed for two weeks...some places don't move that quick. Get some rest.
Two trips to the hospital's Urgent Care Center, multiple chest X-rays, seen by two doctors, and FINALLY a diagnosis: bronchitis, of the viral variety. I'm on antibiotics (my "regular" meds bash immune system, so antibiotics are preventing a secondary bacterial infection from creeping in), two cough suppressants, prednisolone (y'all have NO idea how happy this one makes me), an OTC for drying up the junk in my chest, and my regular meds for autoimmune diseases. There's so many drugs at different times I'm having to write it all down to keep track (and in case I have a bad reaction, so the ER knows what I took when). FINALLY I was able to sleep for the first time in ten days! It was just an hour nap, but dear lord it was nice to SLEEP!
Chemo (for autoimmune diseases) rescheduled for two weeks from today. So that's gonna be a mess, but I had no choice.

Sorry not been round much, it's a busy life these days full of domestic chores and careing for the invalid. Facebookers will aleady know this next bit but for those that don't. Now have an idea of exactly what Sally did, basically shattered her humerus into several pieces, one shard nicked the main nerve but didn't sever it, but that will be the longest part of the healing process. The surgeon did a stand up job of putting things back with a bucket of screws and two plates. x-rays look good. The cut for the op goes from shoulder to elbow and yesterday the staples and stitches came out. They removed the cast and she now has a yoke that is essentially an exoskeleton hinged at the elbow with adjustable range of rotation. Not feeling the best at the moment, obviously, but a good nights sleep should work wonders. Numptys who did the x-ray needlessly removed the yoke, and made a total mess of putting it back on, fortunately I have the assembly instructions and got it back on right with the bits back in they left out and just gave to Sally...
In other news...I live in an area of Ireland dominated by the former billionare Sean Quinn, a greedy gobshite who will be first up against the wall when the revolution comes...Well in my head anyway. His businesses have been taken over and are still running without him, but his cronies are making that as hard as they can, raminng busses in buildings, setting fires, petrol bombs and pipe bombs all being used. Stupid fucks!
@ LocGaw thanks! They FINALLY gave me some meds that helped Tuesday. I actually slept a few nights! Stopped having 2 hour long coughing fits, which helps too. I'm almost feeling human again. I did lose a few pounds though, which is bad. Gotta focus on getting completely over this bronchitis because in a week and a few days, I have chemo again. Ugh.
@ Oldschool You said it!! I haven't even been taking my meds for autoimmune diseases. I know, I know. That's very bad. But I'm on so many meds for the bronchitis, that I just can't face taking the "regular" stuff. Starting tomorrow ill go back on my plaquenil, and Wednesday ill take the methotrexate.
@ Knight hope she mends quickly! Sounds like a horrible fall to cause breaks like that!!

Triple screen race rig has to be a hoot. I've seen them and just drewl.
It is that, it is quite fun for other games, but racing is where it really makes a difference, couldn't be without it now.

They finally found me a volunteer to help me at the animal shelter on Saturdays. He's a OBGYN. Today he gets to fly solo, i'm going drinking.
